Re: The Book of Lobo - Designing
Anybody else liking those suggested changes?
I was thinking about the Healing power, what about this: BLAH, BLAH, HEALING FACTOR, BLAH Anytime a Wound Marker is removed from an opponent's figure's card, you may remove a Wound Marker from this card. Because of the parody to Wolverine, and how DC and Marvel love to have them compete with each other. This would be a GREAT counter to a Weapon X army build, and probably encourage the opponent to not use the X at the end of the round, because all those removed Wound Markers would stack, and this guy could heal up a lot at once. |

Re: The Book of Lobo - Designing
I agree, and that is why I put the "may" in there too. I like how if you forget, you are punished, because it also grabs that theme of not caring and just being Apathetic (which is a great personality for him btw).

Re: The Book of Lobo - Designing
I think with those changes for the funny, Genocidal works for me as a personality. Yeah it's not his main purpose, but I think all the humor on the card gets across that it's something he does on a whim too.
I think that there's a major power swing between the first version of Blah Blah Blah Healing Factor and the second. The first is reliable and will help him go toe-to-toe with anyone. The second really comes into play only in certain match ups and will be a lot harder to cost. I'm fine with either one, but would lean towards the former for consistency of performance and ease of costing. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Lobo - Designing
Oh, by the way, I think those changes were exactly what this card needed to give it the cowbell worthy of a character like Lobo. Nice work!

Re: The Book of Lobo - Designing
I like the regular Healing Factor, not so much the reactive one. The rest of the changes look good.

Re: The Book of Lobo - Designing
I prefer the first version you offered of BLAH, BLAH, HEALING FACTOR, BLAH.
Still not liking Genocidal though. Re: The Book of Lobo - Designing
Well since no one minded Apathetic, I will stick with that. I will put up a writeup later with the changes I intend on making on the SP. Thanks.
