NAME OF THE TEST UNIT (Destiny)

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.

- Give a brief overview. She feels about on par with other 60 or so point figures that are more support figures that Order Marker hogs. So far I feel 65 will hold up.

Units: Destiny vs. Ant Man (30) (two times)
AntMan's Tiny Stealth nullified Destiny's Deadly Crossbow.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Ant Man won in Round 2, Turn 3 and again in Round 3, Turn 3.

TEST 2
Map: Custom - Platforms 5 and 6 without pillars
Units: Destiny vs. Wasp (50) (two times)
Wasp also had Tiny Stealth, but having two fewer defense dice to throw than Ant Man made her more vulnerable.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Destiny wins both, in Round 1, Turn 3 with no wounds, and in Round 2, Turn 1 with 4 wounds.

TEST 3
Map: Custom - Platforms 5 and 6 without pillars
Units: Destiny vs. Bucky (60) (two times)
Bucky has superior offensive potential to Destiny, even without Cap around. Once he managed to engage Destiny, her effectiveness was greatly reduced.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Bucky wins both, Round 3, Turn 1 with 2 wounds and Round 3, Turn 3 with 1 wound.

TEST 4
Map: Custom - Platforms 5 and 6 without pillars
Units: Destiny vs. Alfred (60)
Destiny had the edge against the healer here. Their offensive potential was about on par, but Alfred's much lower life really hurt him.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Destiny wins both, Round 3, Turn 1 with 3 wounds, and a really close one Round 3, Turn 1 with 5 wounds.

TEST 5
Map: Custom - Platforms 5 and 6 without pillars
Units: Destiny vs. Trapster (75)
Destiny had more lives, but even without ever managing to stick her, Trapster's superior attack knocked her out.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Trapster wins both, Round 3, Turn 1 with 1 wound and Round 2, Turn 3 with 2 wounds.

- What should be the unit's point value? 50-60 points
- Give a brief overview. This one felt really close, but Destiny couldn't kill them fast enough.

Destiny killed a Cop on her first attack and felt like she had a chance, but they engaged and finished her off before she could kill another.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Beat Cops win Round 2 Turn 1 with 1 dead.

- What should be the unit's point value? 40-50 points
- Give a brief overview. Moloids creamed her here, with really solid D20 rolls all along (though with only 6 of them, they didn't need them that good).

Destiny's first (and only ranged) attack was blocked, and despite having height she couldn't hold up to all the Moloid attacks long enough to do much damage here.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Moloids win Round 2 Turn 2 with 1 dead.

- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 65 feels fine - her impact here was largely psychological. Deadpool romped.
- Give a brief overview. Though he didn't quite pull off his Tongue Lash with regularity (I rolled 8 twice, so close!) I know that having Destiny around is going to make me enjoy Toad a lot more.

Units: Destiny, Toad, Mystique, Deadpool (610) vs. Cyclops, Jean Grey, Angel, Iceman (610)

Spoiler Alert!

Destiny got a lot of X-Markers early, before Deadpool moved to clean up, but she had a limited impact, as most of the D20 rolls that were successful were with her or without her. The psychological aspect of her presence emboldened more use of Toad trying to pull enemies into Mystique, even though the one successful roll for Tongue Lash did not result in a successful Engagement Strike. The threat was enough to get Cyclops and Jean Grey targeting Toad early, though. Deadpool took advantage of being below the radar and went wild, doing most of the damage (though Toad's special attack was key as well, as was Mystique's range for an initial strike). Destiny never received a numbered Order Marker, but she still felt significant to the game.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Deadpool with 2 wounds (10 healed), and full life Destiny and Mystique win Turn 2, Round 5.

- What should be the unit's point value? 65 still felt fine
- Give a brief overview. All of Green Lantern's defensive roll gambles paid off and he pulled off the win. His and Martian Manhunter's relentless speed and attack were too much for Prof X and the rest of the gang fell fast once Psychic Defense X was out.

Units: Professor X, Destiny, Toad, Pyro, Iceman (650) vs. Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) (650)

She emboldened the Pyro/Toad combo again but didn't make it extremely effective. In three tries, Iceman still failed to hit his freezing roll for his special attack, even with Destiny's +1 each time. Destiny hogging Order Marker 3 while Prof X was around probably slowed down the Mutant offense here, but she did put 2 wounds on Martian Manhunter and had the D20 rolls been slightly more favorable, I think her team could have pulled this off. I feel it's only a matter of time before the D20 rolls start clicking here.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Green Lantern wins on Turn 1 of Round 5 with 2 life and 3 Battery Markers remaining.

- What should be the unit's point value? 55-65
- Give a brief overview. She's fun, but Outcast D20 powers are pretty tough to synergize right now. Hopefully future Magneto will help!

Units: Destiny, Avalanche, Blob, Toad, Pyro, Magneto, Sabretooth (1190) vs. Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Beast, Wolverine (1190)

Spoiler Alert!

Avalanche died too early and the Destiny strategies all fell apart at that point. Magneto was forced to try to assassinate Professor X, but he got tied up in numerous engagements, and wasn't bold enough to drop his bubble to use his throw, so Destiny was no help there. Without Avalanche softening up the enemy and moving Toad and Pyro into position, they didn't survive long enough to use their D20s. Sabretooth did most of the damage, dominating the Order Markers at the end, and after he died Destiny was easy to close out. Destiny did put one wound on Beast from range.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? X-Men win with full life Wolverine, 1 wound Beast, 1 wound Professor X, and 3 wound Iceman.

... and Jean Grey! Destiny would need to use an order marker in an X-Men army, but if you didn't draft Professor X, why not? If you drafted Deadpool and/or Wolverine, just toss Destiny the Order Marker 3.

Final Thoughts
Deadly Crossbow is pretty clear, so no need for separate comment on that. Wow, I'm really impressed with the way the figures benefiting from Probability Precognition fall into place. Very cool supporting unit!

Initial playtest linked to the OP and updated with heavy hitter and squad tests. 65 feels doable so far. I'll try to get the army tests in over the next two days and then turn some attention to doing additional tests on Spidey, Storm, or wherever we need it.

Initial playtest complete. I could see her at 55-65, but with the Brotherhood in need of a major boost as a faction, I'd rather go on the low side for her - so cheat towards 55.
