So actually, I took Wendigo down some time ago because I had the wrong version posted (a really old one) and haven't been able to find the most recent version to repost. It doesn't matter because I've been play testing a newer version yet again. Such a simple character and that's why he just puts me to sleep no matter what I do with him. He'll be reposted eventually.

As for the 100th card in the HelmAverse (10 by Hasbro and 90 custom supers... there is actually 30 in the Havok SciFi but we're not talking about them here), I've started the process to hopefully Lead Design a C3G card that will be HelmAverse compatible. I would love to grace the Helm family battlefield with a C3G logo on a card. Considering there are over 900 C3G cards, it wasn't easy finding the right fit. I'm hoping that my idea floats over with the gang and those guys/gals can help me collaborate on the card.

In the meantime, the HelmAverse might have to plow forward with cards 101, 102, etc. The boys each have a design that we've play tested and hopefully I can get them both posted up here soon.

On top of that, I made the craziest find yesterday in "5 Below". I don't know how many of you have seen one of these in your neck of the woods but in the toy section I found a box of two dragons for, well you guessed it, $5. I took pictures but I'm having a little trouble with the gallery right now. Once I get that straightened out, I'll show the pics.

When you see the dragons you won't believe how perfect they are for Fin Fang Foom and Ridley (from Metroid). Mr. Matt Helm already has Fin Fang Foom ready for playtesting and Lil'Helm has been working on a design for Ridley (Nintendo Power had Metroid comics at one point).

Dragons for the HelmAverse supers to battle! We cannot wait to finish these off.

FLYING
When counting spaces for Fin Fang Foom's movement, ignore elevations. Fin Fang Foom may fly over water without stopping, pass over figures without becoming engaged, and fly over obstacles such as ruins. When Fin Fang Foom starts to fly, if he is engaged he will take any leaving engagement attacks.

They are awesome. The only thing that bugs me about them, & it's not actually related to these figures, is that the HS movement rules for doublespace based figures isn't very thematic for figures like these that stand with their feet perpendicular to the way they face. It just seems weird to move & count by one side & then the other side must follow in that same path. It means that you are penalised a movement point just to make them face your opponent.

I’ve tried to find it online but have been unsuccessful. Also of note, there are 2 color variations for the set. I was lucky enough to grab the one with green Foom and purple Ridley. There were three boxes where the colors were inverted and darker on the dragons. I don’t know if the upc was the same for the other variant.
