I like Visionary as a class that blends 'actual heroes' and 'villains who have convinced themselves and others they're heroes'.

Yeah, good call on Ozy. He does seem to be in a similar vein.

My thoughts on class is: where do we want the AIM faction building in the future? Is there any tag we would want to use for, like, a "AIM Bonding Squad" or something? I know there's been some talk of roping MODOK in but we may just need to put out a 2.0 for him...
I can see Visionary working, particularly since there's a lot of overlap between science dudes in the Hickman era, depending on how we theme them. So I'm fine going there if that's consensus. Always really liked this guy in the comics, he's got a fun design. And I do like the "pick-your-poison" method here, though if it turns out in practice you're not varying the order that often we may want to simplify. Fine with seeing how he plays, though. I honestly don't know what direction we want to take with future AIM units. I think a MODOK II that focused more on him as a leader would be cool, but I have no idea what his class would be. If we wanted to tackle Bobby Da Costa's good guy incarnation, they could maybe be Scientists or Agents? Bobby himself would probably be an Industrialist. It would be cool to rope in Scientists as part of the faction as well, maybe through one of those two leader dudes.
I'm pretty much in the same line of thinking with the "choose your AIMventure" approach to Advanced Ideas. If the player is selecting the same option every time, I'm probably interested in going back to the more locked-in approach, but I figured I'd give this one a shot. |

There's an argument for Power Gloves being a 4 (+2 attack in melee AND double attack). If it were a 4, that'd be 230. I might split the difference and go 220.
