The Book of Robin (Damian Wayne)

I actually started wondering last night if a slightly different approach wouldn't make it easier to follow mechanically. Basically I could go with what I have in the prior post (option A) or this new idea (option B) depending on what folks think will be cleaner mechanically and preferable overall:

OPTION A:

BAT BRAT
After revealing an Order Marker on a Vigilante card you control and taking a turn with that Vigilante, if Robin is within 6 clear sight spaces of that Vigilante, you may take an immediate turn with Robin. You may not take any additional turns with other figures you control. Whenever Robin destroys a figure with his normal attack while in clear sight of any Vigilante you control, your turn ends and you must immediately place Robin on an empty space in your startzone. When Robin is placed in your startzone, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

DEADLY SHOT
When attacking with Robin, each skull rolled counts for one additional hit.

BAT GRAPPLE 3
Instead of a normal move, Robin may use his Bat-Grapple. Bat-Grapple has a move of 3. When counting spaces for Bat-Grapple, ignore elevations. Robin may grapple over water without stopping, grapple over figures without becoming engaged, and grapple over obstacles such as ruins. Robin may not Bat-Grapple more than 30 levels up or down in a single Bat-Grapple. If Robin is engaged when he starts to Bat-Grapple, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

VIGILANTE SIDEKICK
After revealing an Order Marker on a Vigilante card you control and taking a turn with that Vigilante, if Robin is within 6 clear sight spaces of that Vigilante, you may take an immediate turn with Robin. If Robin is adjacent to that Vigilante when attacking an adjacent figure this turn, add 1 to his attack. You may not take any additional turns with other figures you control.

UNAUTHORIZED FORCE
When attacking with Robin, each skull rolled counts for one additional hit. If Robin destroys a figure with his normal attack while in clear sight of any Vigilante you control, your turn ends and you must immediately place Robin on an empty space in your startzone. When Robin is placed in your startzone, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

It is weird that Batman (for example) would give him an extra attack die and then send him back to his startzone for destroying a figure.

So, Option A for me.

Do you think it's clear, in Option A, that getting sent back to the start zone gets triggered whenever Damian destroys a figure, not just while taking a turn from bonding with the Vigilante?

I do. Technically, it really should be a separate power but that would take way too much room on the card so you need to fit it into either Deadly Shot or Vigilante Sidekick. Since I think the extra attack die from Vigilante Sidekick should be removed and that makes the whole card shorter, I think that's the best fit.

Actually now you have convinced me that I like option A better. It just seems more elegant to leave the attack boost out of the power & makes easy sense.

I like A. Changing "If" to "whenever" might make it more clear that it'd happen at any time.
