I am glad you like it. Short is good. I think we have to have this though so people don't get confused and try to resurrect a previously destroyed Billy or CM: "A destroyed Billy Batson or Captain Marvel cannot be placed on the battlefield with this special power."

I like where we're heading. One thing I feel needs to be more clearly defined is this, though: Where does the figure (either Billy or Captain Marvel) go when it's not on the battlefield? How do you determine which doesn't start on the battlefield? If a figure doesn't start on the battlefield, where does it go?
I'd be in favor of it going on its card, but it really needs to be spelled out, I think.

If you want to go AE and make it so he never starts on the battlefield, I think that would be plenty clear. But I got the feeling you didn't want to go that way.

I think it should be up to the player who starts on the battlefield, but I also don't care where the figure is that isn't on the battlefield as long as it's not on the battlefield, same as the AE didn't need to specify it .

Would something like this help:

SECRET IDENTITY
This Billy Batson and Captain Marvel may be drafted in the same army. If you control Billy Batson and Captain Marvel, they cannot be on the battlefield at the same time. Either Captain Marvel or this Billy Batson must start the game on the battlefield and the other figure must not.
