It says "may" on the power, so Heroic Duty would take precedence. I don't think there's an interpretive issue there. Superman must, and once he's moved to roll defense, he's not an Atlantean, so the power wouldn't trigger any longer.

Edit: There will be other Atlanteans. Aquaman for sure, and Aqualad for sure. I think Mera may be one as well. And I'm sure there are some for Marvel that we'll likely do at some point. All of this without even doing squads (which someone will probably want to do once this power comes out and I'm fine with that).
FoOtD really is two powers in one, though.
It's terrain based Thorian Speed + terrain based Swoop kind of - so that is a pretty nice combo.
I'm OK with him having a second power that's a niche power that brings Atlanteans as a group a bit of draftability and adds some theme for him, though.

Individually I didn't think he needed anything more than the FOotD & honestly if we don't think we would ever do any other Atlantean except Aquaman then he doesn't need the bonding type power (Aquaman should be able to take care of himself ). But if we are going to do some of the other Atlanteans then I think this is an opportunity to include it here. I think it is more appropriate on Namor then it would be on Aquaman as majority of the Namor stories is about him protecting Atlantis. Where as Aquaman is more of a widespread do gooder.

BTW can somebody insert that write-up in the appropriate spot . (not here )

That's interesting that they made a common Atlantean Warrior. They might just have to get some love shortly after the F4 release.

On that note, I think Uatu the Watcher is a perfect narrator for the F4 book as he is often involved in their stories becasue they are such huge events. In fact, they are some fo the few Marvel Characters who actually know of his existance.
