Character Bio- While Carl "Crusher" Creel was serving time in prison for an aggravated assault he committed while being part of an extortion racket, he became an unwitting pawn in Loki's plan to defeat Thor. Loki added an enchanted potion to Creel's drinking water in prison and the result was that of Creel gaining the strange power of being able to absorb the physical properties of anything he touched. Creel used his new powers to break out of prison and began calling himself Absorbing Man. He became one of Thor's strongest mortal foes and has battled The Hulk, the Avengers, Spider-Man and many others. After the Secret Wars, Absorbing Man met the villainess Titania and they became partners in crime and romantic partners as well.

• Q: In Power Absorb, it tells you to remove Absorption Markers when Absorbing Man takes wounds. Do you remove those markers in addition to placing wounds, or instead of placing wounds?
• A: In addition. For example, if Absorbing Man was receiving 3 wound from an attack, you place 3 wound markers on his card and then remove 3 Absorption Markers (or if you have less than that, you remove a many as you can).
