Vertical Throw is a cool power, but it feels a little customy. Maybe @Scytale , @Soundwarp SG-1 or @Dad_Scaper can offer some wording advice?

Easiest option would be to make it more like Jotun's Throw and incorporate the damage roll into the power directly. The current wording is really weird and customy for no real benefit IMOO, not worth the effort for the incredibly minor differences it would have from an incorporated wound roll.

I would definitely vote against Vertical Throw as-is. Yes, I understand the intention. But to me it's just noise. Jotun can throw figures as high as he can see, yet there's no special rules for how high up he throws the figures. It's abstracted for simplicity. I don't see the extra complication here as worth it.

I came to the end of the thread to post what Scytale wrote, but I see it's already taken care of, so I won't do it.

It is, thematically, a mess. He has the power to throw something as high as the top of a castle wall, but not to throw it 3 hexes away? It just doesn't compute, thematically or mechanically. Linguistic challenges are the least of this power's obstacles.

Seems like a different version of Jotun's throw. If's it's solely to protect him from squads, then perhaps make it only work on squad figures but not require a 20D roll?

I do like the idea of Kable throwing someone up in the air and then shooting them down with an enhanced range attack--looks like good fun

I think I agree with the others that it would be better implemented as something like Jotun's Throw. However, once it is put that way, it seems odd for a figure this size to have such a power.
