So...... being the nosey busy-body that I am....how will the addition of new judges affect the processing?

I mean, I assume you're not going to just keep the percentages for review/acceptance the same, with majority required for reviewing (5 of 9), and more than 75% (7 of 9) required for acceptance? That'd just slow things down, by requiring yet more people to weigh in before declaring anything done.

I've long thought it might be nice if a sub-set of judges were to be assigned (or volunteer for) each new submission. Say, whenever a unit was submitted, four judges would take the case. Then yesses from 2 of those 4 would suffice for passing a unit to review; and acceptance by 3 of those 4 would qualify the unit for admission. Something like that?

Don't worry, we won't be requiring 75% of nine voters to induct a units (we're trying to speed up the process, not slow it down even more ). Reformat's coming soon.

Really excellent to have you both on board.

We are looking closely at our process and will see about getting things accelerated. I like our current (new) direction quite a bit actually.

Good things are coming, imo, to the SoV--very good things!

I'd like to congratulate Scytale and Super Bogue on joining the SoV. The project will most definitely benefit from their presence as judges.

At the same time, I also am announcing that I am "retiring" from the ranks of the SoV. I absolutely love this project. I think it is one of the best customs projects going.

I have a new baby coming any day now with three great kids already all 5 and under plus I have new responsibilities at work which have drastically cut my free time. Seeing as my HS game time is extremely hit and miss now, it would be a disservice to those customs creators awaiting a verdict for me to continue as an SoV Judge.

I can't express how awesome it has been working with DS, nyys, ZB, 1Mmirg, and of course Killo, our fearless leader. If anyone here ever gets a chance to work on a project with these guys don't think twice about it- just do it. You will be enriched by working with them. They have been a great encouragement to me and I have learned much from them. I will very much miss working with them.

Again, congratulations to Scytale and Super Bogue. I wish I could have worked with you both. I look forward to seeing what you guys put out there!
