I love running her with Batman and Robin and having her tie up villains and just wait for them to attack her while Bats and Robin handle the offense.

FAQ based from this question, I just copied Bat's answer as I found it to to perfectly answer the question.

• Q: Can Batgirl still use Shadow of the Bat even though another figure is going to take a turn based from a Vigilante in play? For example, Batman reveals an OM and Robin wants to use Vigilante Sidekick, can Batgirl still use Shadow the Bat?
• A: Yes. Shadow of the Bat activates after the Vigilante moves, so the Vigilante's turn isn't over yet. The Vigilante could still attack after that. Robin's movement (either one) doesn't come in until after the Vigilante's full turn is over.

Just reading through some designs here and I came across this FAQ from Batman regarding his Evasive Strike and was curious what this means for Batgirl's Defensive Premonition.

• Q: What happens when the Zombies or Roman Archers or other squads with a combined special attack go after Batman, but Batman rolls for Evasive Strike?
• A: Zombies can totally bypass the Evasive Strike with their special attack, because it is not just one figure attacking, it is all three.

Batgirl is slightly different, but a similar question does arise. Here is a proposed answer that I would surmise to be the answer, but Bats should confirm this is the intent.

• Q: Does Batgirl roll for Defensive Premontion against any squad with a combined special attack, such as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents or Amazon Warriors?
• A: Yes, you would roll the 20-sided die to determine if you may roll the bonus 3 additional defense dice. However you may not count the excess shields as unblockable hits as there are multiple targets.

I'd say yeah, they would each get a wound for each excess shield he rolls. Ultimately, they are each making a special attack, it's just that they get to combine the dice roll to affect the number of dice rolled based on the number of spears thrown.

I guess it can be thought of him shattering the spears with his sword and sending shards back at the Amazons.

So it's probably not the best idea to attack him with Amazons.

As to fret's first FAQ, here's a couple minor wording edits:

Heh. I guess consistency is out the window. Honestly, I think I prefer Hahma's ruling there slightly. I'm fairly good either way, though. We just need to agree on one.
