C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Initial is done. While the construct can do well in some circumstances, there are just too many where it doesn't shine at all.

I'd like to raise the Life to 4 and propose we move to Playtesting at 100 points.

I personally would prefer to keep it less then 4 Life just because it's construct & they should be smashed a lot & replaced. I would much prefer lower life & cost.

I could go either way on this - from what I understand Orange Constructs sort of take on the "souls" of those they're made from and are capable of independent thoughts and actions. They could probably warrant 4 Life though my impulse is to agree with you.

Thinking bigger picture here:

Lex didn't go against a figure with a glyph and didn't get to wail on that figure twice to take it out easier. So in some games that will certainly make drafting these Constructs less risky. Lex taking out Annihilus would be a lot easier since he starts with a glyph. Same with Kraven and others of those types.

Having Baron Zemo or Commander Rogers in Lex/Construct army would certainly make them more flexible and dangerous. I know that goes for any army those guys are in, but considering these Constructs can take on the powers of other figures, they have higher potential with more synergy/flexibility added to their army.

Taking on powers of figures with special defenses like Flash, Luke Cage, Spidey, Batman I etc. will add to the longevity of these guys. Batman I isn't hard to kill for Lex, so having a Construct essentially become Batman with Evasive Strike (less 1 attack/defense), will be nasty and the more life the Construct has the nasty they will be.

So right now, I'm probably with A3n in wanting to keep the life at 3, because unlike other Constructs, these have potential to gain special defenses that will make that life of 3 more than enough. I mean Acrobatic Maneuver would be sick. Also, when Larfleeze comes out, that's an extra Orange Lantern that can kill opponent's figures to bring these guys out.

Yeah, the only time Lex went up against a glpyh-holder was the heavy hitter against Red Skull and he didn't get to attack twice because he knocked the glyph out of his hands on the first attack.
