R1: Judges move. Frank moves. Dredd rolls up, barely destroys an Evergreen that smashes into Frank who takes another wounds from Armour Pierce SA, wounds Frank with High Ex SA, and blanks out with Bike Cannon SA. DM flies in and Tail Smashes the Lawmaster and Dredd with 4skulls but Anderson uses Psi-Flash to prevent 2wounds apiece. Anderson rolls, wounds DM, misses Frank with APSA, misses Frank with BCSA(1/4skulls). Frank takes the high road, shoots his bow, misses a Lawmaster(1/5shields).



R2: Dredd wounds Frank, misses DM, misses Frank and DM, wounds Frank with BCSA(1/4skulls). Frank moves, wounds a Brit, DM moves, Tail Smash for 3skulls, stopped by Psi-Flash, Dredd moves. Anderson drives into the water, misses DM, wounds DM with BCSA(3/4skulls, low ground). Frank misses, DM wounds Anderson and her Lawmaster. Brit KOs Frank. DM KOs a Lawmaster, wounds Anderson.



R3: Wendigo Leaps, stopped by Psi-Flash, Brit moves. Dredd rolls up, wounds DM, misses Wendigo; wounds Wendigo, KOs Anderson, misses DM, misses DM with BCSA(1/4skulls). Wendigo smells blood, charges, KOs the wounded Brit, heals, moves, misses Dredd's Lawmaster with 1skull. Dredd moves, 2wounds Wendigo and a Great Evergreen with two High Ex SA, wounds Wendigo with BCSA(3/4skulls). Wendigo 2wounds Dredd's Lawmaster(2/5skulls). Dredd 2wounds Wendigo and DM with two High Ex, the BCSA(2/4skulls) and a Great Evergreen.



R4: DM moves, KOs Lawmaster, 4 wounds spillover on Dredd, who is KO'd by Tail Smash along with a Great Evergreen. Brit moves, KOs Wendigo and DM. Brit KOs Skrull.



Really tough match up for the Creatures as the Lawmasters prevent the engagement Frankenstein relies on to bond. Also they are immune to Cannibal Craving. However they are extremely vulnerable to Tail Smash and Fire Breath which hit the bike and the driver.

R2: DM is stopped by Psi-Flash. Dredd misses, misses and misses with BCSA(2/4skulls). DM 2wounds Dredd and his Lawmaster which is destroyed, no burn. Brit wounds DM with APSA, misses with BCSA(1/4skulls). DM flies in and with one Tail Smash, KOs a Tree, Anderson and a Brit, replaced by a Skrull. Hershey charges and KOs DM.


R3: Dredd moves, 4wounds Wendigo, misses. Wendigo Leaps, misses. Brit wounds Wendigo with APSA, misses with BCSA(2/4skulls). Wendigo KOs Dredd, heals, charges, 2wounds Lawmaster. Hershey moves, misses. Wendigo KOs Lawmaster, no spillover.



R4: Brit KOs Wendigo. Frank moves. Hershey KOs a Tree, 3wounds Frank who moves, wounds Hershey who retreats, misses Frank who moves, KOs Brit.


R5: Frank shrugs off two wounds, moves, misses. Hershey misses. Frank KOs Hershey.


Tried sending out Dragon Man first to try to take out the Lawmasters, then switched to Wendigo to try finish them off, which left Frank alone to clean up. Was pretty close. Hershey had some bad dice at the end.

Punisher is stopped by Psi-Flash, Dredd moves his Lawmaster, Carol misses Dredd. Kraven moves, Brit rolls in and fails to shoot the Tree, blanks out with BCSA. Carol moves and misses a Tree.



R2: Kraven moves, Dredd moves, misses, misses and misses with BCSA(3/4skulls). Cap moves, misses Anderson. Brit misses and misses(BCSA 2/4skulls). Carol moves to the middle, stopped by Psi-Flash. Kraven moves, Dredd misses twice, 2wounds Carol(BCSA 4/4skulls). Kraven moves, 2wounds Hershey, Carol 2wounds Anderson.


R3: Kraven moves, Dredd KOs Carol, misses Punisher, 2wounds Punisher(BCSA 4/4skulls). Cap wounds Anderson. Brit rolls, misses and misses(BCSA 1/4skulls). Dredd drives, misses, misses and misses(BCSA 2/4skulls) but takes out a Tree with an explosion, dropping it on Kraven. Cap is stopped by Psi-Flash.

This army is pretty scary.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: They add a lot to the Judges. Mobility, disengagement and firepower. They felt a little strong at first but suffer against ranged figures who can get height advantage on them.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: This is another one of those full circle C3G moments for me. With Dredd being my first LD and the Lawmasters being the last major piece of the faction.
Extremely pleased with how they play. Dredd should be scary in the hands of others but I had typical bad luck outside of one 5 skull attack on Ms. Marvel. He can unleash a burst of a 6 Attack fire line, a 4 Attack explosion then the 4 Attack Bike Cannon once per round which has the potential to mow down a lot of figures. It can be a bit tricky at times.
The Lawmasters help with setting up the Armour Piercing SA by being two hex, also they help to escape engagement to set up High Ex SA, though the Lawmaster and Dredd can still get caught in it, thus the tricky part and sometimes two hexers are not able to get everywhere.
Only got spill over damage a couple times but it almost took out Anderson which is why I tried leaving her on foot and more in back. Not sure if that is the best strategy. Anderson is crucial. Without her Psi-Flash the wounds start to pile up fast on the Judges.
