C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

LAVA RESISTANT
Firefly never rolls for molten lava damage or lava field damage, and he does not have to stop in molten lava spaces.

I checked some other figures with this ability, and they don’t include the word bolded. Should it read as follows? I actually prefer the above, as the wording allows the comma to separate the words or and and.

If Firefly moves with Hugo Strange's special power can he still use Raining Fire special? Card says 'instead of attacking' but I wasn't sure if this has been discussed.

If its trigger is "instead of attacking," then that means it's replacing the attack phase of the turn. That means that an attack phase must be possible in order to replace it.
