Well I'm sure Griff will make sure it's all good, but since Tickle brought it up and I hadn't notice it previously, I wasn't sure if it were intended or not. Ice Man's Deep Freeze is only temporary and only if you hit the d20, so this power level is significantly higher in the "freezing" theme of it and makes Deep Freeze not so deep by comparison.

I think we're more willing to have "extreme" effects at this point than we were back in the Rise of the Mutants days. Plus, this guy is projected at 50 more points than Iceman and he's a ground pounder, so he's gotta have an edge somewhere.

Yeah, that's cool. I think that it's come to a point where lately we are amping up the power levels of certain designs that could have been applied to other designs previously and not necessarily a year and a half ago. Just as long as since we are doing so now and more comfortable with it, other designs can be okay with it too.

I could see us doing an Iceman 2.0 at some point, but I think when we originally put him below Hasbro Spider-Man at 150, we made a certain determination about what power level we wanted him to express (a fairly low one).

Yeah, we based a lot of stuff off of Hasbro Spidey but now we have C3G Spidey (and others) that are going to be used as comparables down the road. Basically there will be early, inexperienced super-hero/villains and the more mature and experienced super-hero/villains.

I don't want to complicate things too much with a "thawing factor", so I could go with a "at the end of the round thaw", the current "lava thaw", or no "thaw" at all.

Do you prefer:

1 - No thaw
2 - End of round thaw
3 - Lava thaw

I'm fine with 3. Just wanted to make sure that's how it was intended. I like what Bats suggested about it only affecting Move and Defense though.
