ILLUMINATION

Any figure without Light Resistance that has 1 of her Light Markers on its card or is within 1 space of such a figure does not add to its Defense for occupying shadow and cannot use an ability to prevent other figures from having clear sight on it.

INVISIBILITY
Doctor Light can move through all characters and is never in clear sight of enemies.

SNUFF OUT 8
Instead of an attack action, Doctor Light may choose 1 of her Light Markers and roll a d20 for each enemy with that Light Marker on its card or within 1 space of the figure with that Light Marker on its card. On an 8+, the affected figure takes 1 Light wound and that Light Marker is removed from the game.

Cool design, every time I've seen it I've been curious about how it'll play in practice. Guess we'll find out!

Is making the marker placement occur after her move phase (IE not during transition) an intentional choice?

I'd probably say like "that has 1 of her Light Markers on its card" in the first power? Doesn't matter too much here but probably good practice to keep from powers turbo stacking on each other.

I assume snuff out is worded so weird so that she can use herself or friendlies to hit enemies around them without being hit? Wonder if there's a better way to handle that.

Yes. With placement being adjacent, I thought moving first would be needed to pull it off.

Yep, that’s the reason. Open to suggestions! Good call on the other wording thing. I’ll edit that in.

Snuff Out is very cool power. 8 feels like a low roll but it's probably balanced out my it's limited amount of uses.

Yeah she only gets 4 shots at it and it kills any other uses for that marker for only 1 wound, so I wanted it low enough to be tempting.

Btw, any suggestions for good builds to go against to test her kit? I'm definitely going Fan Four to see if she can mess up Sue, but not sure if anything else that's worth checking on.
