Pre-Game Thoughts/Preview : Pretty cramped map for the first game. But teams can do melee and ranged, but the mutants might have an easier time thanks to Jean. Drones will be referred to as Red Drone and Blue Drone.

Damage Done (Normal Attack) : Used 12 times (8 by Red Drone, 4 by Blue Drone), 5 wounds to Wild Child, 1 wound to Cyclops
AUTONOMOUS COMBAT CIRCUIT : Used nearly every round to keep Mk. V in the back leading, and the drones in the mix tying people down.
IRON GRASP : Kept Wild Child from running around in the early game.
REPULSOR BLASTS : N/A

ROUND 1 : Mutant initiative.
Mostly movement to start. On OM 2, both Drones group up on Wild Child, and deal 1 wound. Wild Child gets a wound onto Red Drone on mutant OM 2.

ROUND 2 : Mutant initiative.
Nightcrawler and Wild Child start the round, wounding the Mk, IV and Red Drone respectively. The Drones and Mk. IV are struggling to secure the kill on Wild Child on OM 2. Jean kills Blue Drone on her turn, and Wild Child wounds Red Drone. Mk. IV finishes off Wild Child.

ROUND 3 : Iron Man initiative.
Red Drone and Mk. IV take out Cyclops in melee on OM 1. Nightcrawler BAMFs forward and wounds Mk. IV. Mk. V finally comes out of the start zone, and kills the lightly wounded Nightcrawler. Jean wounds Red Drone.

ROUND 4 : Mutant initiative.
Mk. V sends Red Drone to tie up Jean, but she takes the bot out. A Skrull pops out, and survives Jeans OM 3.Mk. V moves up to line up a shot.

ROUND 5 : Mutant initiative.
Jean kills the Skrull. Mk. V and Jean start swinging at each other, with Jean taking 2 wounds.

ROUNDS 5 AND 6 : Iron Man initiative, Iron Man initiative.
The match comes down to a stats off between Mk. V and Jean Grey. Little happens in Round 5, but in Round 6, Mk. V gets a big swing that knocks Jean out. Team Iron Man wins!

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Iron Man Mk. V 3/4 Life

Post-Game Thoughts : Pretty even game. Drones felt like a solid roadblock against Wild Child, letting the Iron Man suits grind down the mutants. They’re weak on offense, but they’re not meant to be damage dealers. The OM efficiency felt good.

Pre-Game Thoughts/Preview : Assembled Avenger Attack probably won’t see much use this game, but I’m hoping the double drone activation + Activating Mk. III + Armored Allies/Air Assault 12 will be enough to overwhelm the Fantastic Four.

Damage Done (Normal Attack) : Used 2 times (1 by Red Drone, 1 by Blue Drone), 3 wounds to Invisible Woman.
AUTONOMOUS COMBAT CIRCUIT : Used all round 1 before Red Drone was destroyed.
IRON GRASP : Virtually N/A, they moved adjacent to Invisible Woman but she died before a movement opportunity for her came up.
REPULSOR BLASTS : Used 2 times, 0 wounds.

ROUND 1 : Iron Man initiative.
Both teams rush the center. The Drones get on the high ground, and Human Torch flies into them. They disengage to go after Invisible Woman, and deal 3 wounds to her. Mk. III takes her out with a Repulsor Ray. Thing runs up and trashes Red Drone. Mr. Fantastic and Human Torch engage Mk. III,

ROUND 2 : Fantastic Four initiative.
Mr. F whiffs his bonding roll, and fails to wound Mk. III. Mk. V moves up and fires at Torch, no wounds. Mk. III swings for the fences and deals 3 wounds to Mr. F. Thing absolutely TRASHES Blue Drone, Torch kills Mk. III after it whiffs its Circuitry Reroute roll, and Mr. F ties down War Machine. Mk. V uses Pulse Bolt to take out Mr. F. Torch ends the round with 2 Life after taking some damage from War Machine and Mk. V.

ROUND 3 : Fantastic Four initiative.
Human Torch takes a LEA wound, deals 2 wounds to War Machine with Flame On, and hits both Mk. V and War Machine with a Supernova. War Machine dies, and Mk. V takes a wound. Thing pulls up swinging away since Torch is heavily wounded, Mk. V lives the first assault but not the second. Fantastic Four wins!

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Human Torch 1/5 Life, The Thing 6/6 Life

Post-Game Thoughts : Pretty competitive game with the Fantastic Four. The Drones forced the FF to approach by shooting some Repulsors, and dove into the backline to snipe out Invisible Woman. They both died shortly after, but I think they served their purpose.

Pre-Game Thoughts/Preview : 4 drones (Pink, White, Red and Blue) this game. Gonna try and play aggressive this game, move the drones up to tie down some of the Avengers while Hulkbuster does his thing.

Damage Done (Normal Attack) : Used 5 times (2 by White Drone, 1 by Red Drone, 2 by Blue Drone), 1 wound to Spider-Man, 2 wounds to Spider Woman
AUTONOMOUS COMBAT CIRCUIT : Used every OM in the early game and most of them through the mid.
IRON GRASP : Tied down Spider-Man for a bit, keeping him from bonding and attacking Hulkbuster.
REPULSOR BLASTS : Used 3 times, 0 wounds

ROUND 1 : Avenger initiative.
Just movement from both teams.

ROUND 2 : Avenger initiative.
Avengers rolled a 20, so they all move up with Advancing Avengers. Hulk leaps forward and engages Hulkbuster and Pink Drone, then deals some wounds with Thunderclap. 2 Drones and Hulkbuster strike back, but no wounds. Hulk throws Pink Drone into the Mk. I, killing Pink Drone and wounding Mk. I. He then deals 1 wound to Hulkbuster. Team Iron Man strikes back, with 2 Drones moving up to tie down Spider-Man and deal a wound. Hulkbuster gets some hits in on Hulk. The round continues with Red Drone dying to Spider-Man and Cap. Hulkbuster gets a big attack on Hulk and kills him, swinging momentum into Team Iron Man’s favor.

ROUND 3 : Avenger initiative.
Red Drone quickly dies. Hulkbuster is a major threat and destroys Spider-Man. Hulkbuster essentially spends the rest of the round beating down on Spider Woman, killing her on OM 3. Avengers killed the last drone, leaving Mk. I, Mk. V, and Hulkbuster for Iron Man.

ROUND 4 : Avenger initiative.
Cap is using hit and run tactics, kiting him the whole round. Hulkbuster is never really able to catch him, and dies after whiffing a defense roll.

ROUND 5 : Avenger initiative.
Cap must have used all of his luck last round, because his rolls now are underwhelming. Mk. I and Mk. V keep peppering him, eventually wearing him down and scoring the kill after he fails his All Day roll. Team Iron Man wins!

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Iron Man Mk. I 2/4 Life, Iron Man Mk. V 4/4 Life

Post-Game Thoughts : Hulkbuster going on a tear really did a lot for his team. The Drones felt fine, the OM efficiency with Mk. V is really useful, but their stats aren’t anything great. This game was really won by Hulkbuster slapping people to death.

Thoughts on the Tested Unit's Cost, Balance, and Draftability : Happy with how these guys are feeling. There is a lot of OM efficiency with Mk. V, but since these guys aren’t that strong, you’re mostly gonna be using them as roadblocks. They die quickly to any focus fire.

I only tried them in Mk. V builds, as that seemed to be their best build.

General Thoughts on the Tested Unit : ACC - Used all the time, lets you keep the Mk. V back in a Professor X sort of role and send up up the armor.

Iron Grasp - Actively using this to tie down units, even if for just a turn or two, is the most useful thing the Drones do. Really lets you throw a wrench in some plans.

Repulsor Blasts - Definitely their least important power, but gives them something to do at a range. I would spitball dropping it and just giving them range, but I think a meh ranged special attack fits fine on their current design.

Fairly cheap bonding filler for Tony Stark. They aren’t particularly threatening, and their use goes down in a big way when you only have 1 left, but they give Iron Man armies a stronger early game that I felt they were missing. 3 close games has me feeling good about them as is.

Definitely want to see some tests in other types of builds in the public. Avengers Iron Man + Cap + Iron Legion seems like it could be effective.

The bonding thing seems a bit shaky on the Uncommon stacking front, but it's at least clear enough what it's supposed to do.

Might be cool to give the Iron Grasp power the Power Armor tag? Like they are automated power armor suits basically, so it would make some sense for them to be in that faction.

I think from post #4 thru #17 there was a fair amount of Power Armor talk. Ultimately it was decided against using it.

on the repulsor thing. I could see dropping it and giving them range and then maybe lean heavier into the area control part of their build.

Percussion Blast
After rolling attack dice, if a skull was rolled you may choose to have the defending figure ignore the attack and place that figure X spaces away. X equals the number of skulls rolled. The chosen figure will not take any leaving engagement attacks and cannot be placed closer to this Drone that they started.

If they were trending weak I'd be down to go this direction, but I'm worried it would make them a bit too strong. If they're coming in weak after the public I think going that direction and doing some more testing would be a good direction to go.
