Each player must choose only one unit from 5 of the 7 generals. No General can be repeated ( example: I could have stingers or heavies, but not both) and each player can only have five cards. You can have multiple commons, since you only need one card, but they must be the same if from one General. You are not limited to any specific unit.
Here are two example armies ( the armies Legoboy and Canuck used). Also, each army is 500 points. Just goes with the whole five thing.

Q9-180: Vydar
Gyntella Gwen-20: Ullar
Sir Hawthorne-90: Utgar
Red Wyrmling-30: Einar
Death Knightsx3-240: Valkrill

Zetacron-60: Jandar
Venoc Warlord-120: Ullar
Mogrimm Forgehammer-120: Aquilla
Me-Burq-Sa-50: Utgar
Roman Legosx3-150: Einar

These are just example armies. Hope this helped.

Thanks for watching! And yeah, I didn't think about it at the time...but the only thing that might have changed would have been if I decided to take a turn with the Ashigaru's first and then Izumi's next after I cleared out the initial monks.

Wow! I honestly did not expect that outcome on Rainstorm. I was expecting that the sentinals would outlast the Deathknights. But then, i have been witness to what the DK can do to high defense squads myself.
