I am not liking how the SS affect is a "round long" power tied into a successful "turn long" affect. I would like to see the two affects: attack boost and SS be a bit more harmonious with each other. Also, keeping track of whether he has rolled this round, successfully gained attack boost and SS, and still has SS from turn to turn is a bit taxing on the brain.

Hmm ... but he never comes down from the Venom at all during that approach, so you're likely to get to the maximum Venom boost fast and stay there without risk of penalty (meaning 10 attack Bane is almost a lock starting at some point in Round 2).
How about a simpler fix without the extra hardware?

I prefer that, and would have suggested it even, but I thought maybe you were looking for a more permanent Attack Boost/Super Strength.

Nah, I like having to risk wounding every turn. I think while it's maybe slightly less accurate thematically (constantly going for the Venom bump during battle) it's a lot more interesting mechanically.

He will never have SS when it is not his turn. We have some powers that do more damage (or other effect) if the opponent doesn't have SS so even though he pumped himself with the venom in the attack he doesn't have it for his defense. That seems a bit off.

What about:

Hey, what would be wrong with him always having Super Strength and the Venom just enhances his strength? I mean looking at the figure, and what we know about Bane on Venom, he should always have SS.
