Close finish here that felt like anyone's game. Aquaman got hit hard early and was looking to drop quick, so he went all-in on round 2, surrounding himself with all 5 enemies, then attacking 4 of them, and then rolling Release the Kraken 5 times, dishing out 10 total wounds. He was then taken out, but his team continued the fight. The Avengers pulled it out in the end, but a couple rolls gone differently and it could have been a different result.

Another fairly close match. Wasn't as close as the previous loss, but throughout the match it felt even and like anyone's game. Aquaman was boosted up with a nice +3/4 to his attacks with all the support focused on him, and he managed to do quite a bit before dropping. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to finish things out. Summon the Seven Seas was a nice way to force certain figures not to move in certain situations, or forcing them to use fly thus taking a LEA, or even making them want to get out of the 3 space range of Rip Tide potential.

Decent victory here. The opposing army weren't rolling super hot and Aquaman sure was, so take that into consideration. Had the luck been a bit more even, I think it would have been very close. Still a nice showing of his true potential when he's rolling hot.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY:
All of his powers are good fun, and came into use. He plays super well with Justice League hubs, those who like water like Mera, and likes any army that offers stat boosts or free movement(to be ready for Rip Tide). He would not go so well in armies that have OM hubs, as he needs those OMs himself. Definitely not one you leave waiting in the wings, as he can take on wounds fast, and you want to be able to capitalize on that before he drops. I think people will be quite pleased with an Aquaman that's not only less map dependent, but also one that feels like a great pairing with a lot of thematic allies. 360-370 feels about right thus far, so we'll stay the course at 370 going into Public Testing.

It's definitely a JL version to me as well. He really loves all their bonuses and I enjoyed playing them quite a bit in that game. Just finished Game 2. Looking like he's safe to drop a bit in points after tweaking RtK to just 1 wound per successful roll. I had started it at 2 wounds, and 2/5 rolls being successful had 4 wounds on the entire enemy team so I just altered it on the fly. So yeah, 1 wound is gonna be less swingy, and the drop in points will help him get on the table more as well.
