Re: The Book of Red Robin
Ok. Thanks. So the number of attacks Red Robin chooses to do must be stated before adding dice from height advantage then?

Re: The Book of Red Robin
No. You determine the amount of dice Red Robin would throw for the initial attack, including any bonuses (such as height advantage, etc.), then you subtract any number of dice from the attack, to a minimum of 1, then you continue to attack a number of times equal to the number you subtracted, continuing to subtract the same number of dice from each attack.
The last sentence really should probably specify something like "subtracting the same number of attack dice from each additional attack." So if he had an initial attack of 5 with height advantage, but chose to subtract 2, going down to 3 attack, then followed with two attacks at even height, the two additional attacks would each also subtract 2, making them both attacks of 2 instead of 3. Also, I believe as it's written, only the first attack has a minimum of 1, so you could theoretically put yourself in a position to have additional attacks of 0. That's my interpretation, at least. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Red Robin
Anyone try him out with Enchantress & CA yet? With no SS symbol he seems like a good figure to boost. 4 base attack, plus 2 from Enchantress, plus 1 from CA, for 7 attack dice. That gives you 1 attack of 7, 2 attacks of 6, 3 attacks of 5, 4 attacks of 4, 5 attacks of 3, 6 attacks of 2, or 7 attacks of 1. Depending on who you are attacking any and all of those options might be viable.

Re: The Book of Red Robin
Wow...very interesting.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Red Robin
Punisher and Wolverine are probably the top two to pair with Enchantress and Cap, but Red Robin might be a close third. Good idea.
Red Robin, Punisher, Enchantress, Cap, Lightspeed could be a fun 1,000 point army. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Red Robin
Black Canary is the top Enchantress pairing IMO. I've seen it in action and it is quite devastating. Even so, after she goes down you need other good options and Red Robin looks like he could be a nice fit to me along with Wolverine & the Punisher.

Re: The Book of Red Robin
Black Canary's another great option, yeah. Punisher's range puts him over the other three, though, IMO. Wolverine's got the best staying power of the four options, but you really pay for that in cost.

Re: The Book of Red Robin
For ease-of-access when shopping for figures while keeping with official product names, I've figured out a way of listing Fast Forces figures that should eliminate any potential confusion over which figure to use.
For this unit, the FF listing should be as below: Batman: Batman Family Fast Forces #004 / Red Robin Additionally, the Batman Primer set should be called the Batman Gravity Feed set. |
