For now please play it that:

1. You have to remove at least one Battery Marker to ignore attacks

and

2. The power only triggers when that figure is attacked by a normal or special attack

I hope that clears it up for now! Let me know!

We'll work on the wording.

I know that if I did not ask, it would come up very quickly.

Could I remove zero markers to ignore the wounds (thereby making this virtually immortal)? I know this is not the intent, but it is very easy to read it in this manner. Citing rulings such as "a move of zero is still considered a move action".

Also it states receiving a wound from an attacking figure. Does this include all special attacks as while as normal attacks, including 20-sided dice attacks (such as Archangel)? And what about damage from subsequent attacks (such as Wolverine attacking a DO Tree/Stilt-man that then falls). And lastly what about defensive powers from figures such as Phoenix or Warmachine, where they might not be considered the attacking figure.

Sorry if these questions are obvious and redundant, but I just want to make sure I test properly.

"If Indigo-1 or a figure you control adjacent to Indigo-1 is attacked by an opponent's figure and receives one or more wounds but is not destroyed," should fix the second issue. Not sure about the first, have we not done anything like that before? Maybe: "you may remove up to 4 indigo Battery Markers from this card."?

The Enchantress is at it again, this time corrupting the X-men into doing her bidding. The Brothers Three with the aid of Valkyrie and a purple stranger have to stop her.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes

- What should be the unit's point value? 300-330

Give a brief overview. After the initial teleport the Brothers Three were able to get in some partial attacks but were held fast by Jean Grey until Indigo-1 was able to take her out, but by then they were weakened. When Valkyrie was finally able to join the battle the Asgardians were virtually destroyed, however she alone was able to turn the tide quickly. In the end it was not enough. Indigo-1 did about average, destroying about her points worth in opponents. Her teleport can be extremely useful, but the decision to use markers (like any lantern) has to be weighed carefully.

Hmm, two losses there to less expensive armies, but when the armies are that far over 1,000, I find results tend to be less reliable. Still, she's trending down if anything (but 10 points down at the most, I'd say).

Not convinced she needs any adjustment at all yet, though!

Give a brief overview:-Indigo's team had a rough start, with Psylocke killing Invisible Woman quick into the game. Psylocke also proved to be a threat against Doc Oc, causing wounds from MMA. However, Indigo struck a lucky roll of 5 skulls, and Psylocke whiffed her defense, allowing Indigo to finish her off. The team then took the opportunity to try and surprise Xavier in their start zone, using Indigo's teleport with Indigo and War Machine after Doc Oc had died at the hands of Emma/Psylocke. They managed to cause a couple wounds after teleporting, and then War Machine finished the job. They fought hard, and took a few wounds which brought War Machine close to death, but ultimately they prevailed against the Mutant/Telepath team. I felt Indigo definitely had some lucky rolls on offense, while the other team had unlucky rolls on defense of the same attacks, which led to Indigo doing more damage than she'd normally do. However, I really enjoyed using her, and I am happy with the design. If I could change 1 thing, it would be to maybe lower her cost to 300. Though, 320 seems accurate as well. Anywhere in the 300-320 range seems decent.

Give a brief overview:-The action started quickly, with OL taking it to Bizarro. While Indigo tried protecting Bizarro, removing a couple batteries to keep him in the fight, eventually she had to let him die as to not have an Orange Construct take his place. Afterwards, Bane took the fight to Atrocitus, with Indigo backing him up, with Bane's Tactician boost, she managed to finish off Atrocitus. Bane then went after Lex, with Indigo once again backing him up on the bridge, and the two were able to get the job done with Indigo hitting 3 skulls, and Lex botching his defense for the win. I felt she was right in her element here(though Atrocitus could have spoiled the party by Rage Vomiting and killing her rather quickly, but that's the case with most Lanterns). She definitely works best when the attention is on a defensive/support unit aiding her, while she supports them back, making for a tough combo to crack. The fact that 300 points were blown due to Orange Lantern not getting any kills for his constructs, definitely tipped things in their favor and made a huge difference.

Re: The Book of Indigo-1 - Playtesting

Based on the first two public tests, I'd say we have her range locked down to 310-320 right now. Hopefully the next couple of tests will help seal one over the other.
