Re: Supergirl - Design Phase
A3n, I hope you don't mind, but I am in a serious need for playtesting and I plan on playtesting Supergirl tonight. Plus, I keep getting PMs from the Allies/Sidekicks for more playtests. I promise to be gentle with her.

Re: Supergirl - Design Phase
C3G PLAY TEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE TEST UNIT SUPERGIRL - THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them. PASS - MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game. PASS - BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding. PASS - SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit to powerful or too weak. PASS - POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any. PASS - FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play. PASS - FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against. PASS - DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting. PASS - USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable. PASS - STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game. PASS - Heavy Hitter or Mid-Level Hero/ Does it pass? Right now I would pass her at 320 points. If it goes any higher, it will be because of how she handles mid-level heroes and squads.
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ - Squad / Does it pass? She seems like she was worth more like 200 points in this type of test, but that is to be expected when it comes to Squad Scape. Map: Platforms 5 and 6 Units: Supergirl VS Minions of Utgar x3
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ - Army Test/ Does it pass? YES, at 320 points. Mystique, a mid-level hero, did just fine against Supergirl, and she didn't have a special attack, though her engagement strike was half of the damage on Supergirl. Map: Platforms 5 and 6 Units: Supergirl and Hawkgirl (545 points) VS Darkseid and Mystique (545 points)
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ - Army Test/ Does it pass? YES, absolutely. 320 is perfect. This was a very close nail biting game, that really came down to the wire. Even though the Vigilantes had a 20 point advantage, it wasn't a big difference, and Batman did win with only 2 life points left. Great game. Map: Platforms 5 and 6 Units: Supergirl, Superman, and Doomsday (1110 points) VS Batman, Alfred, Huntress, Dare Devil, Punisher, Black Canary, and Green Arrow (1130 points)
Spoiler Alert!

Re: Supergirl - Design Phase
I'm loving everything that's on the first post! Great work guys.
320 is sounding good thus far from the initial playtest, but there's more to come. For her Kryptonian Defense power, the wording sounds a tad off ... how about: KRYPTONIAN DEFENSE When rolling defense against a normal attack from a figure that is not a Kryptonian if at least one shield is rolled, all blanks rolled count as extra shields. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I was waffling back and forth on that one. If the comma sounds right to you as well, though, I'm in favor.

Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers.
