Be able to draw a straight line from the attacker's targeting point to any part of the target that does not pass through an obstacle or terrain feature that is [lob] levels above the attacker.

This was a very confusing sentence at first but I think I got it. Basically, if there's an obstacle/terrain between the Airborne elite, and the target, that obstacle needs to be lower than the lob height (12) to make the attack. If it's higher than that, you need line of sight.

Precisely, and we're defining "between" as lying along a straight line a la clear sight rather than counting hexes a la movement/range.

It's a simple "do what the card says, not what it doesn't" answer. A.E.s can target other squad members. No need to put that in the FAQ, I think, as it's true from everyone else as well. A figure, simply, cannot target itself and Deathereavers don't get to scatter when they do target themselves.

Can you imagine the look on an Airborne Elite's face when his battle buddy chucks a live grenade at him? Priceless .

So idk if this has already been covered somewhere on the boards, but I can't find it. Are the airborne allowed to drop on round one? Since we aren't for sure, we say no. But the ability to destroy someone's starting zone that early makes for quite an interesting option.
