I would suggest a slight rewording on Soultaker.

SOULTAKER
Adjacent Ffigures rollsubtract 2 from theirewer defense dice when attacked by Katana with an adjacent normal attack. Whenever Katana destroys an opponent’s adjacent Unique Hero, you may place ithat hero on this card if it is not an Android, Construct, Undead or destructible object. Whenever an opponent rolls the 20-sided die for initiative or for a figure attacked by Katana's normal attack, you may subtract 2 from the roll for each figure on this card, to a maximum of -6.

Also, we should probably clarify the timing on when the d-20 subtraction takes place.

Piledriver takes out Invisible Woman. Wrecker steps up to height, and starts to work on Star-Lord. Katana steps up and hurts Wrecker. Wrecker kills Star-Lord. Gamora puts a wound on Piledriver. Wrecker tries to kill Katana but she counters it and kills him. Bulldozer moves in and puts some wounds on Gamora. Piledriver hurts Katana, but Katana gets the best of him and finishes him off. Bulldozer moves and tries hitting Katana. Gamora hits Bulldozer for a big attack, then uses Godslayer to kill him. Katana and Gamora move across the map, Gamora attacks Thunderball for 4 wounds. Both teams started the fight on Katana's side of the field. Invisible Woman took height. Luke Cage and Iron Fist made their way over, and Iron Fist immediately went after Star-Lord and then Invisible Woman, with Cage doing what he could against Star-Lord. Invisible Woman was killed, as well as Luke Cage due to a bad botched defense. Iron Fist was then killed by Katana. Robot, Katana, and Star-Lord made their way over. Katana tried to make use of her Soultaker on Spider-Man, rolling at -4 for his Spidey Senses, but Spider-Man would either roll too high or too low. Wolverine moves in and kills Robot, and then Star-Lord. Wolverine then also manages to kill Katana. Harley moves in and she kills Wolverine with a devastating Smilex Bomb of 6 skulls and he botched his defense. Spider-Man and Harley danced around being incredibly too tricky for each other to do anything, but ultimately Spider-Man finishes her off after pulling her in.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: She feels right on the money at 180. It's possible she could be 170 or 190, but from these 3 very close games, as well as her 1v1 matches, 180 seems accurate. I definitely think she'll pull her weight, especially when teamed with those who can boost her attack and defense. The Soultaker d20 factor only became a factor twice in my games, winning them an initiative each time. The d20 aspect of the Soultaker doesn't feel like it's going to be a giant part of her card, as the initiative won't always be close enough, and the defensive d20 powers will be hit or miss...but I'm sure the times it does come into play it'll be a nice little bonus. Definitely draftable as a nice cleanup figure, and combos well with stat boosters and other heavy hitters that can get some wounds on figures leaving them for her to finish. She's very fun to use, can be effective, but has enough of an achilles heel that she feels manageable.

A little late to the party, but I wanted to chime in a bit on the range thing.

First off, Comic Vine is utter garbage for getting any sort of 'powers and abilities' info (or much else really). Even regular Wikipedia is a better source. The DC wikia is at least semi-accurate most of the time and it doesn't mention ranged weapons for either Katanna.

Second, I'm by no means an expert, but I do have 20 or so Outsiders comics (from two different decades) and I've read a bit of the new 52 Birds of Prey stuff. I can't recall ever seeing her use any ranged weaponry; I was able to find a scan of her throwing shuriken, but it's certainly not iconic from what I can tell (incidentally, the respect thread I got that from has some decent scans showing what she can do).
