As long as they are 3 different people, yes. Only managed to get that ideal setup once in game 1, as other times the spaces were occupied, the figures were too far, she’d be out of the 5 range, or Star-Lord didn’t get a skull.

Cool. He's definitely the best partner for her to even try to pull that off, it isn't easy, and sounds like its a thematic pairing. I wouldn't be concerned here, glad to see a test run on it!

Man the color used on ‘AoA’ in the name of playtested unit bit made me think it was like AoA at first. Like we decided she was regular Kitty now or something

Ultimately looks like mass movement guys like MM have better options. Star-Lord probably does as well, though she's obviously got some strong potential with him with multiple chances per turn... but it doesn't seem like that proved any more potent than just running her with the Mutants, so things look safe here. Yea

And I will note that per the recent vote, AoA designs would qualify for the CO symbol, so you're free to include that now as well.

Please explain how the adding of guidelines caused a reversal to a decision that was made when we had no guidelines at all.

He was voting no on it before because there were no guidelines and he didn't personally believe they deserved it. Now that they qualify under the guidelines we have voted in, he believes they fit those guidelines and thus should have them symbol. He is going along with what was voted through.
