Ok it's 2 hours early, but I made the changes anyway.

My question now is, with the change to BUBBLE SUFFOCATION where the markers are returned to this card, how does it work in a mirror match?

I think like Uncommon Heroes, players have the burden of sorting that out.

So something like this:

BUBBLE SUFFOCATION
Start the game with two white Bubble Markers on this card. After moving, before attacking, you may choose a figure within 4 clear sight spaces of Malice and roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 6 or higher, place a Bubble Marker from this card on the chosen figure’s Army Card. After each time you reveal a numbered Order Marker on this card, you may roll an unblockable attack die, one at a time, against each figure other than Malice with a Bubble Marker on its card. Immediately after Malice receives one or more wounds, return all your Bubble Markers in play to this card. If a figure with your Bubble Marker is destroyed, return the Bubble Marker to this card.

I'm liking the bubble marker management here and the power selection! Does she need a defense of five given her personal forcefield? I wonder if 4 wouldn't make more sense?

One question ... is the bubble you remove for her Special Attack removed from the game, or is it still "in play" to be put back with her first power? I'm unclear on that one.

As for Griff's edits - they look good on the whole, but I think we need to keep this original text in for the sake of the mirror test:

Otherwise she's bubble suffocating an enemy Malice without ever placing a bubble marker on her card.

The bubble marker removing is a hang over from when she was to start with 4 & loose them as she used them, so it's not appropriate anymore. having said that though I think it does need to be tied back to the markers so I am thinking that the special removes it for the round. We might need to increase the markers to 3 after that but see what you guys think.

Bubble Suffocation
In a mirror battle where both your Malice and your opponent’s Malice have placed Bubble Markers, would the unblockable die include all the Bubble Markers placed? If you wanted to restrict it to just the Markers your Malice placed, you could say, “other than Malice with your Bubble Marker”.

Yes you can with the current wording. I think this would be OK though I will make the others aware.

Actually, just before sending the ERB to you I suggested this change which Bats has since ok'ed but the others haven't had a chance to chime in.

Oh, that’s nice.

Final Thoughts
I love the use of the Bubble Markers in this design. If she dishes out both Markers, she loses her other two abilities. If she uses the Marker to bolster Forcefield Daggers, she’ll lose one of the Markers from the game. Taking a wound brings back her Markers to activate her Personal Forcefield, which is a fantastic form of self-defense.

Would this still be your opinion of the Markers use with that change to Forcefield Daggers SA? & what about if we increased the number of markers to 3?

Like the change to Bubble Suffocation.

I don't mind that she can use it against commons or squaddies w/o a marker on her card. There are so many ways that she is going to get them back during a round that it's not overly likely that she's not going to have a marker on her card for very long. I also doubt that if she would have to lose a marker to use it for squaddie or common figure, that she would opt for that instead of just using her special attack. Sure she couldn't get both in a turn, but unless it's the last turn of a round, why would she risk losing her huge defense boost for a squaddie?

Fine with the change to Daggers.

I'd be fine with her having 3 markers. If it's too powerful in the initial tests, it can be dropped to 2.
