Also, for the "non-human" discussion: I'd rather keep it capitalized, or use the slightly more circuitous "figure that is not Human" wording, which I think is more in line with precedent. Non-flying is a weird exception, and I like to avoid making weird exceptions a habit.

Honestly, I'm in favour of making the habit the shortest, least circuitous route that doesn't sacrifice clarity, and non-human achieves that. As for capitalisation, I really don't care.

Yes, but 'non-human figure' is notably shorter than 'figure that is not human'.

ah..I had wrongfully thought the original wording was "figure that is non-human". Still "not Human" seems more inline with the aesthetic we are going for. It's the negative of a used term...non-human is technically a new term.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.
