Alright, looks like we're mostly settled. I propose we move Batwoman to Initial Playtsting.
@dok @Dysole @Soundwarp SG-1 any issues we should be aware of here? ".... the Cambridge ladies do not care, above Cambridge if sometimes in its box of sky lavender and cornerless, the moon rattles like a fragment of angry candy" |

Re: The Book of Batwoman - Vote for Initial Testing!
No concerns with the design; she benefits more than usual from stat bonuses but should still be pretty under control. (IMO a bulletproof suit feels more like an autoshield than a one die blocks all damage, but that's me. (EDIT: after skimming the thread, apparently not just me.))
The grenade could create some bookkeeping headaches, especially if there's an initiative switch adding a second turn where it's still in play and/or figure movement powers complicating things. |

I still feel auto-shields would be more appropriate for Bulletproof Suit, but either way, Yea.

Re: The Book of Batwoman - Vote for Initial Testing!
Nay, Bulletproof Suit needs to be something other than normal attack stealth dodge. If you didn't like my two suggestions then Margoloths suggestion was also a good one. I'd drop the requirement to 2 skulls though if you go that route.

Re: The Book of Batwoman - Vote for Initial Testing!
Bulletproof Suit does the exact same thing as Wonder Woman's Bracelets right now, I thought that was a no-no in C3G land? Other than that, while I have no competitive concerns, I agree with dok and yoda that the theme seems off. I'd think it would at least need a different name like 'nano-Kevlar suit' or something to make it seem like bleeding edge military tech, instead of just a regular bulletproof suit (that like all the bat people have now in the comics) somehow tanking the Silver Surfer's cosmic blasts and such

Re: The Book of Batwoman - Vote for Initial Testing!
Guess it takes making a proposal to really get everyone's thoughts. Consider the proposal on hold for now.
Margloth's suggestion is probably my favorite alternative for Bulletproof Suit, how does everyone feel about this: Quote:

Re: The Book of Batwoman - Vote for Initial Testing!
That Bulletproof Suit sounds a little weak to me, but it feels closer thematically.

Re: The Book of Batwoman - Vote for Initial Testing!
I like Margloth's suggestion but I am partial to his ideas.
We certainly do not want bookkeeping issues. Perhaps markers are needed but since an infinite number of figures could be affected, that may not work. Re: The Book of Batwoman - Vote for Initial Testing!
Why not just place the Glyph on the battlefield and remove it when it's no longer active? And put a "can't be picked up" clause in there. Same way we do Gas Glyphs.

Re: The Book of Batwoman - Vote for Initial Testing!
Yes but the affects should last regardless if you move away from the Glyph and should not affect anyone that moves next to it after it goes off.
I think markers may be the only way but the problem with that is squads. You almost need something like the wound markers in AotP that go on the base of the figure. Re: The Book of Batwoman - Vote for Initial Testing!
I'd try going with having it last until 'the end of the round or until you reveal a #ed OM' approach and see if any issues arise from that. It should result in the effects only lasting through your current turn and one of each opponents turns.
