A Member of the Court of Owls cannot be attacked as long as they are in your Start Zone and you control at least one Assassin Hero outside your Start Zone.

Might be the most elegant fix.

I did consider that, but one of the more memorably stories for the Court is when Batman is trapped "in their maze" being hunted by a Talon, so it feels weird that you can hit them on their home turf when they have their bodyguard right next to them. Theoretically, they should be most protected then, right?

Hmm, yeah, that's a good catch. And Turtling in response probably isn't always the cleanest option, when you could pair them with someone like 8 range Merlyn.

Yeah I’ve been pondering on that, don’t really want to open up any weird auto-win scenarios or anything. Honestly kinda forgot about the no attack power a bit since these guys are an ancient design and the Soundwarp Scape version does something totally different.

Could just change it to basically giving them invisablity when in the Start Zone and you control an Assassin. Makes them vulnerable to melee, but it also makes them more even against auto-wound armies and such.

I don't think you need the "A Member of the" part, but looks better to me.

Actually I guess when referring to individual memebers of the squad I could just say ‘an Owl’ ? Like if it’s a Court of Owls the people comprising it are called Owls I guess. That would save a big chunk of text space.

I'm personally fine with it. Squads default to the full name as far as I know, so it'd be "If a Court of Owl is ... etc..." Which just doesn't really work here.

A "member" is also fine in general for cases like this, but I like "Owl"

I like Owl too, as in “an Owl.”

Nice tweak on the immunity. Invisibility communicates the theme well.

I might go with "courtier" here for their generic - being "a member of a court."
