Awesome Bats. So far, looking at all the playtests that are available, Beast totally looks like 180 to me. I know you are not done yet, but I wanted to ask, does he "feel" like Beast when you are playing him, because he does to me?

Well, Negotiation doesn't come into play as much with the one on one tests, etc, but he certainly does pack a punch. I do think he feels beast like, but part of me wishes we'd kept defensive agility, as hopping around away from attacks is pretty Beast like too (but I guess we don't want everyone to be Spider-man, and the whirlwind attack was much needed for an anti-squad X-Man). Five attack that's whirlwind compatible still seems pretty high as well, but I'll see how he does against some KoW or Heavy Gruts on a melee test.

Edit: I'm confident Negotiation will come into play more in the full army tests, btw.

Hahma, did you playtest Beast yet? I'm not sure if you finished a test and I forgot to link it to the first post or not.

Here it is and it's worthless as he's been changed so much to even bother posting it. Same with Angel, you might want to remove that link to my test sheet as it is irrelevant as well. I'll re-test them both when I get a chance.

OK, will do! Good of you to not mind doing that retesting. Maybe someone will beat you to it.
Either way, I think Beast is real close now. He's definitely in the 170-180 range and his powers are good to go, I think.

Well like I said, I'll test them when I get a chance. I'm not racing do get any of these done as they aren't a top priority for me.

Oh definitely, take your time. I figure any playtesting we do now is money in the bank earning interest. This set doesn't kick into high gear for me until World's Finest is released.

I'll try to post them later, but don't expect any miracles as far as them being great.

Edit: I added the new pix to the thread where I have the other X-Men pictures. I added them to the first post. The picture of the Sentinel are in the Sentinel thread.

Iceman and Toad were repaints that Griffin mailed me. I didn't do any repaints on mine. So maybe photoshop experts can touch them up somehow.

I think one thing we're going to be doing after the X-Men set, that we're just going to have to bite the bullet on, is lowering our standards for figure pictures and absolutely accepting ones we can find online if they look fairly good. We should be spending our time designing and playing with units more than as amateur mini photographers (as nice a job as Hahma does in this role).

I agree. Our focus needs to be on creating tons of well balanced units, not photography. Plus, Hama did say that he is done with taking pictures after this set, and I don't blame him.
