Ok I have been thinking about this more, & the I'm not sure now that I like the movement linked to the power (SA or otherwise). My reasoning is that this will change the tactics of Supergirl to try to keep the opponent at some sort of distance as much as possible & that's not the vision I had for her. With the way I had it (or Necro's rewrite) HV wasn't something that could be relied upon to do damage (which is why the no cap works better for me) so it was more of a choice to use the Hyperspeed or use the HV now & engage next turn. So I guess what I am saying is that I think it should go back to the my original intent for the power using Necro's re-write.

I did like the idea of the mechanic so maybe we can save it for another power.

Personally, I am OK with that, but I would like to see the Range and Number of Dice swap numbers. So Range 5. Attack Special. Start with 4 dice. I would also like it to not be usable on Humans, but if we are using it across the board for Kryptonians I can see where we wouldn't want that. Maybe we could do a Heat Vision SA for Supergirl with no use on Humans and a seperate version called Vicious Heat Vision SA for Zod, Ursa, Non, Quex-Ul, etc.

With a D20 power seeming pretty out, Necro's take on the special attack is my favorite option as well.
I don't like the whole moving reduction thing because it just sounds mechanically complex and text heavy. We want this power to be clean enough to be easily portable to lots of Kryptonian cards, including our next version of Superman.

HYPER SPEED 4
After taking a turn with Supergirl, Supergirl may move up to an additional 4 spaces. Supergirl cannot use Hyper Speed 4 if she attacked during that turn.

I would really like to see this changed to match Silver Surfer's power. Give her her normal attack back, but deny her the use of the Hyper Speed if she uses her SA. Please be sure to pull up SS's card and match the wording correctly.

I believe I did match SS's wording when you take out the restriction of only being able to attack with a normal attack.

As for being able to use her normal attack & Hyper Speed in the same turn, that makes her highly mobile & powerful. Do we want her that powerful?

I don't - that would make her a bit too slippery/tricky, which doesn't seem like her character at all.
