Still haven't gotten through Punisher season 1. That's where I got stuck with my Netflix superhero watching. Just not sure if Punisher as a character (at least in his own stories) is for me.

FWIW, I liked it and I'm not traditionally a huge Punisher fan.

Yeah we haven't gone past Punisher either. But that's because my wife isn't excited for the violence. We have so many to watch after it and it's a roadblock. I keep hearing it's amazing though.

Honestly I didn’t feel Punsisher season one (haven’t seen 2) was particularly extreme violence wise.

It's not. And that's not my issue with it. It's just a bit ... slow?

My daughters and I loved the Punisher series.

My wife almost gave up three episodes into Daredevil season one due to the graphic violence. Yet she absolutely loved the Punisher series for the character development.

Punisher is super slow. In general, I like the series whenever Frank is on screen, but I don't care much at all for the cop lady or Billy Russo or any of the other various supporting cast members of the series.

I liked the second season a lot better... the first few episodes of that (Frank, in the midwest, trying to start a new life, getting sucked into playing good samaritan for a super ungrateful teenage girl) were top notch. But then he's back in New York with the same old supporting cast and I'm like, eh.

Down to just the final seasons of Daredevil and Jessica Jones, then I can put a nice bow on Marvel Netflix in general. I think I'll be 100% caught up in the MCU at that point?

My 16 year-old twin daughters went to their first homecoming on Saturday Then went to Six Flags Great America yesterday with their boyfriends and their cousin and her boyfriend and a best friend.

I really liked the Punisher series but he's a character I've always been drawn to. That being said I never really liked that first big Hollywood movie they did, the second one (War Zone) with Titus Pullo as the Punisher was more to my taste. Thought the first series did a good job of examining the issues a returning soldier faces in many forms, which having grown up in the army I really enjoyed. Anyway, his show is not at all integrated into the main 4 Defenders series so you don't need to watch it before any others. Karen Page pops up briefly but that's about it.

Punisher is one of my all time favorite characters. For the fact that he kills the bad guys instead of other heroes that repeatedly catch the same bad guys over and over while more innocent people are killed. I think its great that he doesn't have super powers yet he is awesome. Also appreciate his arsenal. Anyone that knows me personally knows that the majority of hats and T shirts I wear outside of my work uniform have some form of punisher skull or logo on them, not to mention the logo on some of my vehicles. The movies were entertaining. The one with John Travolta in it was pretty cool, warzone was ok as well. The series on Netflix was slow at first but turned up the speed by season 2. If they add more of it I'd watch it. Each one of the shows has good stuff and not so good stuff but its entertaining enough that I enjoyed pretty much all of it.
