Mercy and Reaper have some interesting ideas, but they're both too long to fit on a card by a good chunk right now.

You always have to roll however many attack/defense dice you have (unless a special power says otherwise) regardless of who/what you're attacking/defending against. The Rilfe and grenade already bypass defense, but I suppose Biotic Ordnance could have a 'friendly figures may choose not to roll defense dice against Ana's normal attack' bit added in to make the normal attack more useful for healing.

Gotcha. I'm sure in most cases you would snipe your own unit with that sweet sweet 10 range, or go for the AoE heal on the grenade. Wasn't sure on the actual rules in regards to opting out of rolling defense though.

This surge of Overwatch designs is interesting, translating video game mechanics into Heroscape is a fun avenue.

Great Ana design! Sleep Dart could work if that was wanted, maybe something like this.

SLEEP DART
Start the game with 1 Sleep Marker on this Army Card. Instead of attacking, you may choose a Unique Hero within 4 clear sight spaces of Ana. Roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 16 or higher, place the Sleep Marker on the chosen figure's card. A chosen figure that has your Sleep Marker on its card cannot move, attack, make any leaving engagement attacks, or use any glyphs or special powers on its Army Card. At the end of the round, or if the chosen figure receives a wound, place your Sleep Marker back on this card.

I can certainly see it being left out for being too wordy or not flowing though, I think what you have is great!

As for Mercy, I like where it's going but I'm not 100% sure C3G's Guardian Angel is a perfect match for her, though an alternate to Angel for saving figures in this way would be neat. She wouldn't be an Angel species wise, she's still very much a Human. Other wise though I like it! One marker that you can place and move around would be a neat way to show how she basically tethers to people.

Reaper's range would need to be reduced, and I'd be concerned with Hellfire Shotguns healing multiple wounds frequently.

I actually did write ups of Reaper and Mercy too so I'll post them below. We had some similar ideas in what they both do.

Mercy

After moving and before attacking with a Unique Hero you control, if Mercy was adjacent to that figure at the start of this turn, you may place her on any empty space adjacent to that figure. If Mercy is engaged when she moves with this special power, she will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

CADUCEUS STAFF
After revealing an Order Marker on a Unique Hero you control, if Mercy is adjacent to that figure, you may either:

• After taking a turn with that Unique Hero, you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 12 or higher, remove 1 Wound Marker from that figure’s Army Card. Or,
• After rolling attack dice for that Unique Hero, you may re-roll one attack die that did not show a skull.

RESURRECT
Once per game, if a Unique Hero you control within 4 clear sight spaces of Mercy is destroyed, before removing that figure from the battlefield, you may immediately place her on any empty space adjacent to that figure and roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 5 or higher, remove all Wound Markers from the chosen figure’s Army Card, and that figure is not destroyed.

THE REAPING
Each time Reaper destroys a figure, you may remove 1 Wound Marker from this Army Card. The Reaping never affects Undead, Androids, Constructs, or destructible objects.

WRAITH FORM
Instead of his normal move, Reaper may move up to 6 spaces with Wraith Form. When moving with Wraith Form, Reaper has the Flying Special Power and will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

DEATH BLOSSOM SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 3 Attack 5
Instead of moving and attacking normally with Reaper, you may move Reaper up to 2 spaces. Reaper can attack up to 6 times with this special attack at any point before, during, or after this move as long as Reaper is on a space where he could end his movement. Reaper cannot attack the same figure more than once on a single turn, and can only use this special attack once per game.

Yeah, that's a pretty good representation of the power, but yeah there just isn't space for it and the dart is a pretty random bit of her kit. The other powers form a pretty clear 'sniper medic' picture that the 'also I make people sleepy' thing doesn't flow into elegantly in a game like C3G. Plus like the one time she used it in a comic it just totally fails

So if you want to see Overwatch cards start play testing and earning points and such and you might even make one y'alls selves!

This is great to hear! Once my life calms down a little I'll definitely have to start playtesting! Been meaning to for a while but this will help push me there. Better start reading your rules and such on playtesting
