I think those are good suggestions. I was playing around with the positioning of the jungle pieces last night and I think I have something that I like a bit more than what's in the current VS file. I do have a few tiles remaining that I can use to try to build up the elevation on the left - there's a short rise there that can probably be extended. I'll try that and upload a new version.

This one is a bit tough to call. It is either scenario or casual, but it's not obvious to look at if it would be balanced enough for casual. I think it would need somebody to play it & let us know how it felt to see if it can fit in the casual category.

I see it as casual. It looks like fun to play on, but it's a little compact for tourney. I can imagine some sort of scenario, such as retrieving an item of power on a remote island before it erupts, so I guess I'm a bit on the fence.

VS file has been updated with the changes suggested by TW. I haven't updated the pictures in the first post yet as my netbook can't handle 3D graphics but I'll do so later tonight.

I like it! But "lair" is one of my favorite words.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
