Re: The Book of Brit-Cit Judge
It’s your project. Do what you want. But I don’t see how the unit’s perspective on spelling norms should matter. Spelled wrong is spelled wrong and it is a needless distraction from the design.
But do what you want. This is just my two pennies, as a total outsider. I’ll show myself out. |

Seems like a horse of a different colour to me.

Re: The Book of Brit-Cit Judge
I must agree that the spelling of the country of origin for the comic or character should be used. This project has seen a fair number of individuals from places other than the US just in its Heroes and Sidekicks, so I must imagine there are a deal more in the broader audience. Authenticity takes the cake for me. If it's true to form, I will adapt.
Like Superheroes and Comics?

Re: The Book of Brit-Cit Judge
If it is changed, then I propose an alternate card with the present spelling of Judgement and the Defence spelling - makes more sense than the Kryptonian script card for Eradicator, after all!

Re: The Book of Brit-Cit Judge
Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it. But I said what I had to say, and I want to avoid both (1) feeling like I'm being too pushy, and (2) acting invested in a design that I'm not likely ever going to use.
I do appreciate the kind words, though. |

Re: The Book of Brit-Cit Judge
If you're going to go with the deliberately-British "judgement," then I highly recommend you go all the way with British-isms. As
@quozl
, always the clever one, hinted, and as
@Lazy Orang
suggested also. LO, are there any others, besides Defence?

Re: The Book of Brit-Cit Judge
I'd actually be okay with that, having the Brit-Cit Judges from the 2000AD comic line having defense spelt defence on their card. I think I'd stop at the one card though, not sure about changing say Captain Britian's card.

If you're going to do this, I 100% agree it should be a one-off.

Captain Britain (not Britian ) is an American comic invention so not the same animal here... Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Brit-Cit Judge
Since the other Judges use American spelling, we should probably do the same here.
