Can you explain why you feel that way? When we have a once per round power, we wait until the end of that power to state it can only be used once per round. It's something you read once and it's easy to understand and remember. You don't need to read that it's a once per round power every time you are trying to make sure you are getting the rest of the powers mechanics correct.

BFG SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 4. Attack 6.
Choose a figure to attack. Any figures adjacent to the chosen figure are also affected by this special attack. Rocket Raccoon only needs a clear sight shot at the chosen figure. Roll attack dice once for all affected figures. Each figure rolls defense dice separately. Rocket Raccoon can be affected by this special attack and can only use this special attack once per round.

That one is an anomaly. Normally speaking, the begin "Once per round". Its easier to miss or forget tagged onto the end.

I think I’m going to try out that second version I posted and see how it feels the next time I get a chance to play. (Which may be a few days.)

Honestly, I think because it is a draft power I want it first. Easy to glance over once you're playing, but it definitely needs to be something you see before you start to play.

Pre-game thoughts: Testing what it feels like to use the power in conjunction with an OM hub. I do worry about kind of losing the reckless feel when casting the spell has no effect on how you play.

Post-game thoughts: A solid defeat, with Team 1 not having the defense to protect themselves from the Legionnaire onslaught. Selene did alright with Energy Vampire, but got worn down pretty quickly.

Hard to say much about the Fool. It won Team 1 initiative, so it’s working as intended I guess.

Pre-game thoughts: Trying out this new version. Obviously still allows for a cheesy combo (Rogers rearranges all the OMs), but it feels a lot less cheesy than the OM hub combo from before. Accidentally made armies so that it’s being tested at 5 points, but I’m rolling with it.

Post-game thoughts: Definitely worth noting that if Dormammu was facing almost any other 130 point figure, he would’ve won. Brainiac just happens to have that Shield Belt which made Dormammu hurt himself a lot.

The Fool basically did nothing this game.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I feel very comfortable with this thing as-is. You pay 5 points and put all your OMs on one guy to get a really good chance at winning initiative. I imagine we can zoom through testing here.

I'd honestly feel comfortable passing this thing through with just 1 set of public tests, if that's okay with you guys.

I'd like to call a VOTE for Public Playtesting.
