I'm okay with coining "making" but personally I've never liked the "figures don't roll dice" thing or tried to adhere to that as a wording principle. (EDIT: Well, maybe I shouldn't say "never". I might have stuck with it in the early days? Been a bugbear for me for some years now, though.)

Yea either way for wording. I agree with Ronin on figures rolling dice but this isn't the specific place to have that fight.

be better? Most powers aren't technically preventing them, so much as avoiding them. But that might just be a weird semantic technicality sort of debate.

If we want to enforce the figures-don't-roll-dice I prefer Ark's wording but like I said, not a principle of mine. Happy to have a broader conversation about that elsewhere if people prefer.

Fwiw, I don't care either way, just something I've seen in someone's signature and thought it was something we were pushing to make a standard. Easier on wording if we're ok with stating they are rolling the dice.

I believe that was SirG's big thing. I largely agree with the logic behind it, but I'm not much of a soap box type on these sorts of things.

SirG and johnny were both big on that, yeah. I feel it mostly just makes wording more confusing, though (EDIT: though admittedly not a huge deal in this instance), and it feels like kind of an arbitrary line to draw when Heroscape language ascribes a lot of actions and agency to the figures in other ways.
