Re: Vassago - Design
Changes are that I cut the carry out of the wounding part, and let him do it on his own without needing a rider. Then he can be a draft in companion armies if you'd like. He does get a bonus for the rider though. The roll itself is higher than in 1.0 to compensate, also dropped defense down to 5 since he was just a bit too chunky in my opinion.
Made him an even 100 now. The changes are pretty low impact I think, but I can still run some sanity tests if ya'll want. |

Re: Vassago - Design
Nice. I’d add the Animal and Mount keywords like Battle Cat has.

Re: Vassago - Design
Keep forgetting about the animal one thanks. What's the idea for the Mount keyword?

Re: Vassago - Design
It's for animals that might spontaneously turn into mountains.

Re: Vassago - Design
I was going to at play off of it with Fisto, but something anyone known for riding skills could use.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Vassago - Design
I guess my question is, is that mechanic worth it if half the mounts can only be ridden by certain figures? Like here Vassago has all the synergy on his card. Not wasting space on the riders' cards. Will Fisto do something cool with him even if he can't ride him?
Not against it or anything, just strikes me a bit odd. |

Re: Vassago - Design
It’d probably be based on using the mount as a mount. Fisto is still pretty up in the air though and an interaction between him and Vassago is not a priority for me at all.

Re: Vassago - Design
Oh sure. I'm just wondering if its worth making a whole keyword if most "mounts" do all the heavy lifting themselves? If Fisto has a specific one he thematically works with, is it worth just synergizing them rather than using a keyword on a bunch of stuff that really doesn't care about it?
Unless its something like he can activate multiple mounts, then there's use. Just curious if its needed essentially. |

Re: Vassago - Design
None of them are needed (keywords) but it could be a fun design space to riff off.
