I think if you were switching to a "roll X dice, where X is" type structure, you wouldn't need to also do any kind of explicit previously/before rolling thing - should be pretty clear that you only calculate/roll once in that system.

Units: Bully and the Beast: Gigan (600) Battlebeast (400)- 1000 total vs Oh No, They Say He's Got To Go, Go Go: Godzilla (1000)- 1000 total

Results:
Game 1: Godzilla with 10 life
Game 2: Battle Beast with 3 life.
Game 3: Godzilla with 5 life.


Just having him fight Godzilla, though he's unfortunately missing out on a chunk of his powers here.

Basically just a dice fest, didn't really tell me a whole lot since big monster fight isn't really what scape is about. Sometimes dice where good, sometimes they weren't. Battle Beast not having range was a bit rough against big G.

Gigan can kite Godzilla fairly well if he doesn't attack and just buzzsaw drive-bys him, but it didn't feel too annoying (and also that like is 100% how Gigan fights Godzilla in the movies). Trying to burn through 20 life that way takes awhile and eventually Godzilla gets his SA online so you're better off biting the bullet and fighting in melee after a while instead of trying to do that forever.

Game 1: 3 Cybermen remain.
Game 2: Full health Oracle, 3 life Megs
Game 3: Sir Soundwave with 4 life.


Trying a team where he has both Huge things and Invader things, though not really the most best army at the moment since there isn't any Huge Invader crossplay except for Gigan. It wasn't terrible though, Soundwave giving some extra positioning options helped out Gigan quite a bit. Also helped that the Cybermen have some pretty high stats for a 3 man ranged squad.

Offensively he felt like a threat but he wasn't so powerful that Megs or Optimus didn't have a chance against him. Ms. Marvel didn't like him much given her low life to cost ratio, but she was also significantly cheaper than him so it wasn't that bad for her.

Overall: I think he's fine as he is, just kinda lacking an army (or just a big 3-headed dragon buddy) to go with that the moment. I thought all his powers were useful.

Not really sure on the price and such, I don't do a lot of high point figures. He's got some decent autowound potential and a good attack, but he didn't feel too off the mark at 600. But again, also not in a maxed out team at the moment.

I might consider dropping his defense to 5, since that's what Godzilla has and he doesn't have much of a reason to be more tanky than big G.

Oh, thinking of doing some slight updates to the wording here. Manly to clarify that thing about how many dice you're rolling but also to stop him sawing VDO drivers / making everything still fit.

COSMIC TERROR
You may choose for Gigan to start the game on his card instead of on the battlefield. At the start of each round, if Gigan is on this card and not destroyed, you may place him on a space within 6 spaces of an Invader you control. If you do, you may choose 1 figure within 6 clear sight spaces of Gigan and use Gigan's Buzzsaw Bellied Bully Special Power on that figure as though Gigan passed over it.

BUZZSAW-BELLIED BULLY
After moving normally with Gigan, you may choose 1 figure within clear sight of Gigan that he was adjacent to or passed over during his move. Roll X unblockable attack dice against that figure. X is equal to the number of the following that are true:
• Gigan passed over that figure this turn.
• That figure is wounded.
• That figure is adjacent to another Huge figure you control besides Gigan.
