I like how you specify "normal attack" in Double Attack to indicate you only attack twice with the normal attack and not the special attack.

Final Thoughts

Nice set of abilities and stats. Heatwave is the most similar character to Firebrand, but Firebrand has a bit beefier basic stats, and the double attack will give him more firepower (Hey, I made a pun!). I also like the way Double Attack pairs with the Flamethrower to provide a solid choice between normal and special attack. Tactical flexibility FTW!

Firebrand’s double attack from height was very helpful (flying helped him get there), and Batman only hit 1 of 3 Evasive Strike rolls, but the last one was a killer, and a 1 shield on 7 defensive dice roll got Firebrand three wounds early.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Batman with 3 Wounds wins Turn 5, Round 1.

Units: Firebrand vs. Batman (200)
Batman went 0 of 2 on Evasive Strike and only got in one attack with his Batarangs before Firebrand finished him off with his first two attacks from height.

Spider-Woman went 0-3 on [redacted], and Firebrand shot her up from height while her melee fists couldn’t do enough.

Spider-Woman goes 0-1 on [redacted], but rolled well enough on her attacks to pull this one off.

Units: Firebrand vs. Gambit (210)
Firebrand outranged Gambit and used this as a means to get height to finish him off. Gambit rolled only 2 skulls on the three attacks the only time he used his special attack.

Units: Firebrand vs. Gambit (210)
Same story as the last time. Firebrand’s greater mobility and range give him the advantage.

TEST 7

Units: Firebrand vs. Iron Man Mark III (220)
Firebrand had Iron Man defeated were it not for a successful Circuitry Reroute roll. After that, Iron Man finished off Firebrand before his foe could get another wound on Iron Man.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Iron Man with Full Life but nullified wins Turn 5, Round 2.

Units: Firebrand vs. Iron Man Mark III (220)
Another barn burner here! Firebrand couldn’t quite finish the job, but it was close and competitive throughout.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Iron Man with 3 Wounds wins Turn 2, Round 3.

TEST 9

Units: Firebrand vs. Red Skull (220)
Firebrand uses his better mobility and his ability to outrange the Cosmic Cube to dominate play here. He even used the Cosmic Cube to transfer over Red Skull’s fourth wound (taking one back himself) before finishing Red Skull from height.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Firebrand with 1 Wound wins Turn 6, Round 1.

TEST 10
Map: Custom
Units: Firebrand vs. Red Skull (220)
The Cosmic Cube bounced around a bit here, but Red Skull managed to use it to put 2 wounds on Firebrand which, along with his double lugers, proved too much for Firebrand to handle.

This was a tough map for a mostly melee squad, and double attack (mostly from height) was nasty. Firebrand won initiative in Round 2.

- Give a brief overview. Part of it is rolling hot and nasty from height, but Firebrand dominated the squads here.

The Hawkmen felt really slow and melee here and Firebrand rolled hot and nasty, only failing to kill a Hawkman on one attack. This led to the only attack from a Hawkman, which was also from height disadvantage, and failed to inflict a wound.

- Give a brief overview. Firebrand didn’t do much here, and after he fell, his team had no answer to Black Panther.

Units: Firebrand (230), Baron Heinrich Zemo (170), Grey Gargoyle (200) (600) vs. Captain America (240), Hawkeye II (160), Black Panther (200) (600)

Spoiler Alert!

Firebrand led the charge and got one wound on Cap with his normal attack, but then Black Panther, aided by Cap (attack) and Hawkeye (movement) both, just beat the crud out of Firebrand. Firebrand risked a leaving engagement attack with one life left to get in more attacks from height. He survived the swipe, but didn’t get in any more wounds, and Hawkeye followed by carrying Cap to height. Cap easily punched Firebrand out in Round 1.
Zemo used his Adhesive to cancel a lot of Avenger turns and marched his team back, killing Cap and Hawkeye, but without Firebrand’s special attack, there was no answer to Black Panther’s vibranium.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Black Panther with Full Life wins Turn 3, Round 5.

- Give a brief overview. The overall results felt close, but this was a poor match up for Firebrand and he didn’t perform well. He may be worse in army tests rather than better. Probably not a figure to lead off with, but more of a mid-game shark.

Spoiler Alert!

Mandarin was two failed Energy Ring rolls away from winning this one. Very close match in which Sub-Mariner, Titanium Man, and Mandarin all performed well, and in which Firebrand put up another stinker.
Firebrand led it, but had tough match ups with Stealth Suit Iron Man and Iron Man Mark V, against whom his double attack was no advantage, and his range was mostly nullified. He was hoping to get to the opponent’s startzone in time to release havoc with his Flamethrower, but he wasn’t nearly fast enough, and Tony Stark took him out by the end of Round 1.
All Firebrand accomplished in this one was putting a single wound on Iron Man Mark V.
Sub-Mariner came in next, whooping through Iron Man Mark III and Iron Man Mark V before Stealth Suit finished off what Mark III and Mark V started and put Sub-Mariner down. Titanium Man came in next and finished off Iron Man Mark II and wounded Stealth Suit before falling himself. Mandarin took out Mark I and had a chance against the wounded Stealth Suit Iron Man, but failed his roll.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Stealth Suit Iron Man with 2 Wounds wins Turn 5, Round 6.

Probably more than 170 considering he's like Hasbro's Iron Man with 1 less range but a bit more other stuff going on.

Porkins said that double attack with the 4 attack on Crow was way too powerful, and says he's well over 185, but double attack here is perfectly fine, and he should be 170???? Firebrand can even get height much more often with his flying.
