Yeah, I saw this power more as a "space" travel power than time, but now I see it as he is "going back" to where he was previously. So the theme is even better than I had thought. Good stuff here A3nus.

Definitely would like to see some sort of glyph use here over putting markers on spaces. And definitely would prefer if multiple figures could make use of them, as well as the Temporal Defense special power.

What about as a standard Glyph:

TEMPORAL DISTURBANCE
This figure cannot be targeted by a non-adjacent attack.

And then:

TEMPORAL MARKER
Start the game with 2 Temporal Disturbance Glyphs on this card. After revealing an Order Marker on this card and before moving, you may move 1 Temporal Disturbance Glyph from this card and place it on the space occupied by Chronos. There can only be a maximum of 2 Temporal Disturbance Glyphs on this card at any one time.

TEMPORAL DISPLACEMENT
If Chronos has less than 2 Temporal Disturbance Glyphs on this card and is attacked by an opponent's figure that rolled at least 1 skull, instead of rolling defense dice normally, you may ignore the attack and immediately place Chronos on any unoccupied space with a Temporal Disturbance Glyph on it. Place the Temporal Disturbance Glyph back on this card. If Chronos was engaged when using Temporal Displacement he will only take leaving engagement attacks from figures with the Temporal Defense special power.

TIME TRAVEL
After taking a turn with Chronos, you may choose place Chronos on any unoccupied space with a Temporal Disturbance Glyph on it. Place the Temporal Disturbance Glyph on this card. Looks tight. I envision a future scenario with him where there are a crazy number of Temporal Disturbance Glyphs on the map ... We're going to need to start a thread for the Temporal Disturbance Glyphs and put those through the process as well ... maybe before this guy can advance, honestly.

I really think that a D20 should be associated with his Temporal Displacement power now. I am starting to become concerned with his ability to constantly and automatically avoid attacks when there are multiple glyphs in place. Also, Equipment glyphs can only be equipped one at a time, so using wording that starts him equipped with two, and allows him to have two is a tad confusing.

As long as there are two glyphs in place and they are not adjacent, Superman would NEVER be able to defeat Chronos, and Chronos would just keep on attacking and vanishing and eventually win. :fail:

Ok first of all the idea of the glyphs is that they are standard Glyphs not equipment glyphs, it's just that the rules are being broken by this card (that's what powers on cards do) to allow him to place them on his card.

Second I just ran a scenario & you are correct with 2 glyphs even Superman couldn't touch him, but 1 glyph works if you keep going after him, even a character that moves only 5 can eventually force him into a corner. If there were 2 people with this mechanic in the same game it would be interesting and I don't know if it would be broke or not. Having said that what if we kept it at 2 but Temporal Displacement only worked on normal attacks?

We didn't ignore you, if you followed the thread you'll see me & Bats changed the wording to accomodate & then after further discussion dismissed it as an ability for him, maybe for Booster though.

Honestly, I think the only way o make the current power work is to not try to add anything to it ... it's bulky enough to require three separate powers to really suss it out. I love it, though, so I hope we can work it.
A3n - I'm against the 2 Glyphs but they only work against normal attacks idea, because that doesn't help balance him any against those single normal attack heavy hitters like Superman and Hulk, who seem to be the issue anyway. What's wrong with keeping it working against all attacks, but only 1 Glyph?

I have followed, but you guys I believe misunderstood me then and I don't believe ever really got what I meant. Here is a (poorly worded) example of what my idea was:
TEMPORAL DISPLACEMENT

If the figure placed was engaged when using Temporal Displacement it will only take leaving engagement attacks from figures with the Temporal Defense special power.

EDIT: This seems way more fun and strategic to me.
