Updated the SP here. I want to keep the straight line requirement for his flying, I might nix it later, but I like the theme of him flying forward like a spinning rocket.

A single unblockable against figures in a line each turn. Also he's a huge 1000 point beast, so it's fine.

Spoiler Alert!

Recap: Basically a dice fest. Gamera got the high ground faster with his spinning shell, but Zilla hits harder. Blocking the biggest hits with Gamera’s Shell, that let him use some strategy against Zilla, moving around, and making use of his SA. It ended with a round leaving both of them with a single life left, and of course that favors Gamera since even if Zilla wins initiative, Gamera could have blocked the first attack. But still can’t get much closer than that.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Gamera with 14 wounds out of 15.

Recap: Kong is nasty. Gamera didn’t have much of anything to deal with him. Sure he can block some attacks, but not if Kong rolls 6 skulls (Which never happened actually, but still). Kong kept throwing Gamera all over the place, and with him always having the high ground, and staying in places that Gamera couldn’t even use his Flame Shell around, it was pretty one sided. Gamera got one huge hit in, leaving Kong with just 2 life left, but then he of course healed and took a double turn.




Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): King Kong with 8 wounds (Healed 2).

Recap: Made a few tweaks to Gamera after a blowout in Gamera’s favor, and it felt better. He ended up with a loss, but I think we’re fairly solid here. Gamera booked it after Otto pretty quickly, but Leopardon dealt massive damage to him. By the time Gamera finished Leopardon, he was wounded enough that Takuya and Assassin could pick him off fairly quickly.




Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Takuya with 3 wounds, Assassin with 1 wound.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I think he’s pretty spot on. Definitely not as kinetic as King Kong or other such designs, but he feels like a big lumbering turtle which was the plan. The Spinning Shell gives him a nice crazy speed boost once in a while that’s kind of scary and awesome and feels unexpected. There’s a lot of easy dials to turn in public testing if we need, so I’m not too worried!

I ran the Spider-Verse team twice, only recorded the second, as he was a bit much against the mid-range heroes. I ended up dropping his attack. I cut the straight-line requirement on Spinning Flame Shell as it was nearly impossible to move him with his weird base. And also allowed him to attack after it since it's a big sacrifice for not a huge gain otherwise.



I propose we move to public testing.
