It'd be nice to give him a class that gives him a bit of crossover potential...or maybe the Delgado Master could call out him in some way?

Was thinking that may make for a fun game map, though it would probably need to be scaled back a bit.

I don't think they're consistent enough to have a solid map, it's very much dependent on what each individual story needs.

I feel like you could play into that? Have a randomly generated map made out of different rooms maybe? You could even include some HS terrain - like the Butterfly Room could totally just be grass hexes.

The butterfly room was a room that the Eighth Doctor kept in his TARDIS which housed a sunny hill and meadow and billions of butterflies. The Doctor enjoyed sitting on the hill and watching the butterflies. It was warmer than most of the other rooms and corridors in the TARDIS.

My friend just introduced me to some Doctor Who. The Vashta Nerada would be a great Story Card for shadow tiles. You could maybe move them around once per round and wound anyone adjacent to or on. Would definitely need to be balances around Gorr though.

Vashta Nerada felt like they’d be pretty weird to implement when this thread first started, but yeah, a Story Card would be a great avenue for them!

Instead of moving and attacking with Rose Tyler, you may roll the 20-sided die for each figure within 6 clear sight spaces of Rose. For each roll of 12 or higher, you may either inflict a wound on the chosen figure or remove a Wound Marker from its Army Card.

PARTING OF WAYS

SUPER STRENGTH

First co-design with NobodyGF! Bad Wolf Rose is supposed to be...Doctor Manhattan levels of powerful, but I think keeping her a little toned-down is probably good to keep her from being too swingy. You should have a fair chance to go Super Saiyan without the enemy immediately gunning her down, but also it shouldn't feel like you've lost the game if she dies early.

Not sure I accomplished that goal, but that's the idea!

Very cool but I think as is a smart opponent will take her out on her A side 95% if the time. I might consider more of a Phoenix approach?

Mechanics on Parting of Ways are a big confusing. If she dies, does the card flip, or do the powers stop working because she is dead?

Kiss From A Rose currently makes Rose and Gallyfreyan Wanderers invincible as long as you don’t take turns with Rose (which isn’t required). Just ignoring Rose and chipping away at enemies with The Doctor’s very weak attack could legimately win you games.

Cool design overall! The strategy is definitely to get Rose into danger until she flips, then you get 3 turns of chaos. It’s a decent investment for not too much offensive might, but the defensive power (however it’s tweaked to avoid the exploit above) is pretty big. Depending on your goals here it might be worthwhile to power down the defensive power and power up her offensive might. I never got to this part of Rose in my watchthrough of Who so I’m only familiar with the A side thematically.

You did not get very far then Arch. The next Companion is quite underrated and is an actual Doctor.

Pretty cool start there Nobody. Watching the 3 Doctors today. Funny that is the first time the Brigadier enters the TARDIS. Could use an Omega design someday.
