Re: Green Lantern John Stewart - Brainstorming Phase
GREEN SHIELD DEFENSE
Anytime this Green Lantern or an adjacent, friendly figure is attacked by an opponent's figure and at least 1 skull is rolled, instead of rolling defense dice normally, you may remove one green Battery Marker from this card and ignore that attack. When this Green Lantern removes a Power Battery to ignore a normal attack from an adjacent figure, the attacking figure receives one wound. I just noticed this (well after Bats mentioned it to me ) and it had previously escaped my attention due to its name.

Re: Green Lantern John Stewart - Brainstorming Phase
I would say no because it would just be wasted text as it would never be used. It just wouldn't ever make good sense for Green Lantern to give up so much in a PB just to move 3 people instead of 2.

Re: Green Lantern John Stewart - Brainstorming Phase
I don't think I'd ever burn a PB to carry extra either ... unless I had an ability to recharge at least. And if I could carry half my army and then recharge, it might feel a bit overpowered at times.
As for the shield power, I really like it and was all set to argue against Griff for it sticking around until he said that bit about Red Lanterns and I realized he's right about how freaking sweet that power would be on an Atrocitus card ... you're right Griff - we should stay streamlined on the GLs and save that for Red Lantern cards! C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Green Lantern John Stewart - Brainstorming Phase
On carry, sorry, I got so wrapped up in making it sound official I left out the non-flying caveat, which should read "two figures without the Flying Special Power", correct?
Second, I totally disagree on the Red Lanterns, because they are never going to even have a shield. AND other than Atrocitus, only Mera (whose ring is a duplicate of Atrocitus's) even has free will. The rest all attack by spitting their toxic blood on people. I think Green Shield Defense is a nice subtle tweak of the usual power. Re: Green Lantern John Stewart - Brainstorming Phase
Hmm ... you make a good point about Red Lanterns being unlikely to have shield powers. I think with no Red Lanterns created now and it being a power I'd hate to lose all together, I support it here.
I think the carry wording is good, yeah. Are we sure we want him to give everyone he carries temporary disengage too? That's a pretty powerful aspect above and beyond the already powerful power. I just want to make sure we're all aware the card is doing this currently. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Green Lantern John Stewart - Brainstorming Phase
I went that way, because I see it as John grabbing them with a big green hand and dragging them along. I don't see any reason he would drag them out of engagement and leave them vulnerable. I mean he is doing it at the speed of thought, right?

Re: Green Lantern John Stewart - Brainstorming Phase
Well if that's the case, shouldn't he only be grabbing unengaged figures ... (since you don't see him grabbing them out of engagement)?

His cost would definitely be higher if he could grab figures out of engagement. Re: Green Lantern John Stewart - Brainstorming Phase
Yeah, it sounds like we're leaning towards not being in favor of him granting auto-disengage (which is how it's currently worded) ...

Re: Green Lantern John Stewart - Brainstorming Phase
Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. I meant that because he grabs them out of engagement, I can't see any reason they would be vulnerable, hence the disengagement.
