Plus sign by name?

I happened to glance down at the bottom of the main forums page, where it says who is online, and Lord Pyre had a + at the end of his name. It wasn't a link and it's not part of his name.

I was curious if anyone knew what this is/was?

Yeah, the plus thing seems pretty worthless. All it seems to do is add another character to the web page.

Buddies can be used for various features when enabled. The admins chose not to enable those features, so the Buddies is pretty impotent here. The plus sign is just a visual cue for you as to who is on your list.

It is a fairly useless feature, though. Maybe if theres a way to get a PM drop-down list with buddies on it? Which, I admit, wouldn't be much more useful, but still. I could use it CoNs and such.

I use my buddy list to quickly grab, copy, and paste into PMs--it works well for organizing an event. Just saves me from typing them all in (though I do have to reformat them briefly to use in a PM).

Yeah, pretty much impotent, but something...maybe.
