I've been trying to keep away from the more generic synergies for honorable units, (generic being a completely subjective term) though I may end up making synergy charts for each faction at some point, just to include in game strategy in this as well.

At this point though, there's so many guards and guard synergy scattered everywhere that it'd be weird to have everybody everywhere become honorable units, IMO.

I know this is gonna be some thread necromancy, but I just stumbled onto this thread and it looks awesome and helpful for future development for customs. Any chance it can get updated with the newer C3V and SoV figures?

Interesting. This is a cool thread, but a really big undertaking.

If somebody's interested in taking control of this OP, and @Evar-Scarcarver doesn't object, I'd be glad to give that to a willing volunteer.
