The Book of S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert C3G MARVEL SUPER SECRET EXCLUSIVE 33 CRIME STOPPERS The figure used for this unit is a HeroClix figure from the Critical Mass set. _________________________________________________________________ Its model number and name are #010-012 / SWAT Heavy Weapons. Its model number and name are #204 / Roger Falcone. Character Bio - The S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert is a member of the S.W.A.T. team who is specially trained in dealing with the handling of and disposing of explosives. He will deal with bomb threats, but will also be used to gain entrance into barricaded hostile territory by setting explosives of his own. This S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert will also be responsible for disorientating enemies with his Stun Grenade in order for himself and his teammates to have a better chance of success. _________________________________________________________________ -Rulings and Clarifications-

SPECIES = HUMAN UNIQUENESS = COMMON HERO CLASS = LAWMAN PERSONALITY = DISCIPLINED SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 1 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 5 ATTACK = 3 DEFENSE = 4 POINTS = 35 STUN GRENADE Before a Lawman you control attacks a figure that was not adjacent to it at the start of its turn, if the defending figure is within 4 clear sight spaces of at least one S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert you control, you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 9 or higher, the defending figure and each figure adjacent to the defending figure roll 2 fewer defense dice against that attack. Destructible objects are not affected by this special power. Stun Grenade can only be used once during your turn. EXPLOSIVE CHARGE Before taking a turn with an unengaged S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert you control, you may choose a destructible object that your S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert is either on top of or adjacent to. After moving and instead of attacking with that S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert, the chosen destructible object receives 3 wounds. I feel confused how the powers actually relate to this figure. But it could that I am at work & not completely focused. I will re-read later.
The whole referencing the SWAT Weapons Expert & Lawman but not relating back to this SWAT Explosives Expert is putting me off I think. I might need to put some figures on a board to visualise how it works. I updated the SP with Bats' suggested change for
I also changed Stun Grenade to this: Quote:
It will be only once per turn so that it's not a dice fest when attacking with Cops, Science Police or mess with the multiple attack issue with SWAT Rifleman. We don't need to roll the d20 that many times in one turn, so once per turn is enough. I also got rid of the line where it didn't affect Sensory Assault figures because a Stun Grenade has both a flash and a bang, so since Sensory Assault figures aren't immune to sound powers, they should still be affected by the bang part of the stun grenade. Since it's once per turn now, I lowered the d20 to 9+ because for one, it should be able to work a decent amount of the time considering they are highly trained SWAT police, and also because these guys only have a defense of 4 and 1 life. People shouldn't have to field 10 of these guys to be able to get this power to work. Ideally you should only have to field a few of these guys, along with other SWAT units and other Lawman "commander" types. Also considering there aren't always going to be DO's on a map, these guys should still be able to be helpful with their Stun Grenade. Well part of it is that it's a Common Hero, so the card works simultaneously for all the Explosives Experts you control.
The first power is a bit to wrap your head around, but I believe it's worded clearly, that I get it, and I think it's pretty cool. The second power needs a little wording help, just because right now you're choosing the figure, when you should be choosing the DO. Maybe something like: EXPLOSIVE CHARGE Before taking a turn with a S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert you control, it that S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert is unengaged, you may choose a destructible object that your S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert is either on top of or adjacent to. After moving that S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert, if that S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert did not attack this turn, the chosen destructible object receives 3 wounds. I also fixed all the places where you called it a Weapons Expert instead of an Explosives Expert. (There are still lots of these in the first power, though). C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I like it, pretty cool. Was expecting a frag grenade or something, but the DO charge is cool instead, and I love the stun grenade.
