Anyone else want to weigh in? I think it's the right move to get where we want in terms of simplicity for the whole master set.

I'd prefer limiting Shift to after moving if we're dropping the choice. Forcing them to shift before moving feels like it'll generally be used only for disengages, but shifting after movement has more flexibility (and limits their capability to run away in the endgame). It also makes them feel more distinct from the ninjas, IMO, since they struggle more with disengaging.

After moving allows them to charge a screen and get past it in one turn. Then they're free to go after squishier targets, or force the screen to use another OM to try to tie them up again.

Before moving means they have to spend a turn engaged to the screen first.

I'm not sure that PK is actually in favor of before moving still. I'm sure that he'll correct me if I'm wrong.

I was never strong on "before," and Necro made a good argument about "after." Even if only to make it different than Disengage.

For the sake of moving things forward and due to NecroBlade's points, I'll happily switch to after if most of you are leaning that way.

I'm not sure it will be as useful for going around screens; many times a jump of two spaces will just put you on the other side of a screen. But it will sometimes be doable.
