Heavy Hitter/ Does it pass? Pass if he was closer to 300 points than 350 1v1 with no Construct to protect him.

Tested on Platforms 5 and 6 map.

Vs. Hawkgirl – Kyle wins with 2 wounds and 4 BM on T1R2 (got initiative for second round and avoided at least the need to use BM)

Vs. Flash – Kyle wins with 3 wounds and 4 BM on T1R2 (got initiative for second round and avoided at least the need to use BM).

Vs. Wonder Woman – Wonder Woman wins with 0 wounds on T3R1. (She avoided his only attack with her bracelets and then Lassoed him to ladder run below her and crushed him)

Vs. Deadpool – Kyle wins with 2 wounds and 3 BM on T1R3.

Vs. Magneto – Magneto wins with 2 wounds on T5R3. (Mags had Shield up entire time and just outlasted Kyle and forced him to use BM’s until Mags could put final wounds on him).

Vs. GL Hal – Hal wins with 2 wounds and 2 BM on T4R3. (another long match where Hal had advantage with 1 more attack and defense and Fearless Charged worked a couple times. When these guys duke it out, it’s a matter of attack die rolls and making the choice to use Shield or roll defense. When rolling defense, if they roll only 1 shield vs. a 3 skull attack, that’s an easy 2 wounds and likely force them to use Shields more often when only 2 wounds from death).

Squad/ Does it pass? To be done Pass (he rolled terrible defense and only had 1 attack at a time. Hard to burn BM vs. 2 skull attacks but could have to have him last longer and his lower attack wouldn't have been bad vs. squads).


Played on Ruins of Pine Tree Marsh map

Kyle @ 300 vs. 10th Reg x 4 (300)

12 of 16 10th Reg. survive to win on T6R2. Kyle had 3 Battery Markers left when he died. This map isn’t as favorable to him as Platforms 5 and 6 as opponent’s can spread out better and on a couple occasions engage him. He had height for the whole game, but could kill only 1 at a time. He rolled poor defense really as he took 1 wound here or there vs. 2 skull attacks and only rolling 1 shield. He died when he whiffed vs. a 1 skull attack. With 7 def (ht) for most of the game, he didn’t want to burn BM until he took a couple wounds and then vs. a 3 skull attacks, didn’t want to burn them vs. 2 skull attacks. Eventually the odd vs. 4 attacks/round caught up to him for defense rolls as is usual when going against squads. The Mech Construct would really help him here by having multiple attacks vs. squads.

Green Lantern – Kyle Rayner tested at 300 (w/o construct)

Vs. Venom (150) and Iceman (150)

Spoiler Alert!

Venom had first 2 OM’s on card and got to central structure on second turn but Kyle had gotten there first and stayed far enough away so that Venom could only use Web attack and missed. Without Venom being able to engage, Kyle decided to save Venom for later and was able to take advantage of his move of 9 to fly to the top rung of the ladder on the platform near opponent’s starting zone and targeted Iceman for an attack with height. Kyle put 2 wounds on him before Iceman used his Iceslide to get up to same level and adjacent to Kyle but missed with his 2 skull attack. Kyle then killed Iceman with a 3/1 attack.

Kyle flew back to take on Venom but Spider Sense kicked in. Then Venom put 2 wounds on Kyle with a 3/1 attack as Kyle took a chance to roll defense dice vs. a 3 skull attack. Venom then evaded another attack with Spider Sense before forcing Kyle to burn a Battery Marker (3) Kyle attacked Venom again and again Spider Sense kicked in. Venom then put 3rd wound on Kyle with a 2/1 attack.

Kyle gets frustrated as Venom evades another attack with SS. Venom rolls 5 skulls to force Kyle to burn another Battery Marker (2). Kyle misses again with another SS roll. Venom forces another BM removal (1). Venom finally misses a SS roll but it was against a 1 skull attack which he blocked. Venom doesn’t waste any more time as he takes out Kyle with the next attack. It was only a 2 skull roll vs. 3 def for Kyle with 1 life left. But if he burned that last marker, he’d be left with a 2 attack and defense an not last long anyway.

Venom survives with 0 wounds to win. He rolled extraordinary SS rolls and could have either lost or have a few wounds, so this one could have either gone Kyle’s way or at least been much closer.

Army Test 1/ Does it pass?. Pass
Played on Platforms 5 and 6 map

Green Lantern Kyle (tested at 300), Wonder Woman (300) and Flash (250) for 850 points.

Vs.

Thor (430), Iron Man (240) Spiderman (160) and Marcu (20)

Spoiler Alert!

R1 – Iron Man moves onto platform. Flash moves ¾ to top of ladder for central structure. Spidey Swings onto platform adjacent to Iron Man. Kyle flies to top of central structure with his move of 9 and attacks with height to put 3 wounds on Iron Man. Spidey Swings to top of ladder on his side of central structure and puts 1 wound on Kyle with Web attack. Wonder Woman flies to top ladder rung on her side of central structure and is too far to Lasso Spidey.

R2 – Wonder Woman moves 1 space to be adjacent t ladder and is able to Lasso Spidey to a lower rung and attack him with height but only puts 1 wound on him. Spidey (had wanted initiative to engage WW) fails to leave engagement and takes another wound and then misses an attack on WW with height. Kyle takes advantage of his position once again and attacks with height and kills Iron Man (who is kind of useless vs. WW’s Bracelets, GL’s Batteries and Flash’s Evade) .Thor moves to where Iron Man had been and throws his hammer at Kyle but misses. WW attacks with height vs. Spidey without Spidey Sense and puts 3 wounds on him to kill him. Thor moves adjacent to Kyle and Wonder Woman and Flash is on ladder 2 spaces away so Thor tries God Of Thunder Strike and rolls a 6 vs. Kyle, 3 vs. WW and 5 vs. Flash ( I’ve yet to see this power be overpowered).

R3 – Thor attacks WW and puts 1 wound on her. WW leaves engagement for 0 wounds so she can Lasso Thor later. Thor can’t move to reach WW with normal attack so he attacks Kyle with a 5 skull attack and Kyle burns a Battery Marker for Shield (3). Flash moves up and attacks Thor with Fist Fusillade but misses all attacks. Thor attacks Kyle for 1 more wound (2). WW flies back and Lassos Thor but can’t wound him.

R4 – WW attacks and puts 2 wounds on Thor (2). Thor attacks her in return and puts 5 wounds on her (5). WW puts 1 more wound on Thor (3) Thor attacks and kills Wonder Woman. Flash attacks and misses again with FF. Thor attacks Kyle but only rolls 1 skull which is easily blocked by Kyle.

R5 – Thor attack with hammer swing but only rolls 2 skulls which Kyle blocks and Flash Evades. Kyle attacks and puts 1 wound on Thor (4). Thor attacks Kyle and puts 1 wound on him (3). Kyle misses Thor with his next attack. Thor forces Kyle to burn another Battery Marker with his next attack. Flash attacks normally but misses Thor and then moves away.

R6 – Flash attacks with normal attack but missed and moves away. Thor attacks and missed Kyle. Flash moves, attacks normally and misses and moves away. Thor attacks Kyle with a 4 skull attack and forces him to burn another Battery Marker (1) Flash moves, attacks for 1 wound on Thor (5) and moves away. Thor moves and attacks Flash but he Evades.

R7 – Thor attacks Flash with 6 skulls but Flash Evades. Flash moves and attacks Thor for another wound (6). Thor attacks Flash but he Evades again. Flash Attacks Thor with a 4 skull to 2 shield attack and kills him. Thor dead, no turn. Flash moves down near Marcu.

R8 – Flash attacks Marcu with FF and kills him.

Flash with 0 wounds and Kyle with 3 wounds and 1 BM left survive to take the victory. Flash was the MVP with his Evade. He stopped wasting attacks with FF and just used normal attack of 5 to try to whittle Thor down and he did. Though 1 missed Evade here or there could have easily swung it the other way. Kyle pretty much had 2 easy pot shots at Iron Man, so he had 2 attacks of 7 (height) to kill IM and he put 1 wound on Thor. He really helped being a punching bag and being able to burn BM’s while Flash or WW did their thing, so that was helping the team w/o having to attack to do it.

Kyle 300, Captain America 220, Spiderman 160 for 680 points.

vs.

Deadpool 285, Hawkgirl 225, Drake SOTM 170 for 680 points

R1 - Drake moves out. Cap moves out. Deadpool moves out and attacks Cap but misses with both attacks. Spidey moves adjacent to Cap. Drake Grapples to height and attacks with Pistol but whiffs the attack roll. Kyle moves adjacent to Spidey on 2 level height and attacks Deadpool for 2 wounds. Deadpool reveals X to heal 1 wound (1).

R2 - Deadpool moves to height and attacks Kyle twice but misses both times and heals 1 wound (0). Capt moves to be adjacent to Kyle and Spidey on top of 3 hex piece of 2 level height to give them bonus and then throws Shield to put 1 wound on Drake and 2 wounds on Deadpool. Hawkgirl moves out and keeps out of LOS of Kyle's team. Spidey stays put for defense bonus next to Cap and to deny Same Level access for HG or Drake, he then attacks Drake with Web attack but his 3 skull roll is wasted on a 3 shield defensive roll. Hawkgirl hoped Spidey would have moved, but she still Swoops > 4 to attack Cap with height and puts 3 wounds on him. Kyle attacks HG with 8 dice (6 + 1ht +1 Cap) but only rolls 2 skulls which are easily blocked.

R3 - Hawkgirl Stealth Flies away from Cap and out of LOS. Capt chooses not to chase her and attacks with Shield Throw, but his 4 skull attack vs. Deadpool is wasted by a 4 shield roll by DP. He only rolled 2 skulls vs. Drake and they were blocked. Deadpool attacks with height vs. Cap and puts 1 wound (4) with first attack and then finished Cap off with a 3/0 attack. -1 wound for DP (0). OM on Cap, no turn. DP attack Kyle with a 2 skull attack but Kyle can only roll 1 shield and takes 1 wound (1) but Kyle blocks the other attack. Kyle then flies back to starting zone where Hawkgirl is hiding behind a ruin and Kyle gets height and attacks her with a 2/1 attack for 1 wound.

R4 - Kyle gets initiative but can only roll 2 skulls again with height for an attack vs. HG but she blocks it. HG Swoops2 and rolls 4 skulls when attacking Kyle so he burns a battery marker (3). Kyle finally rolls well for an attack and puts 2 wounds on HG (3). HG attacks with a 4 skull attack and Kyle takes a risk this time and rolls defense and rolls 3 shields to only take 1 wound (2). Kyle rolls another pitiful 2 skull attack vs. HG and she blocks it. Drake leaves height advantage and moves adjacent to Spidey and attacks with a 5 skull roll but Spidey hits SS and evades.

R5 - Kyle just cant get the power flowing as he attacks HG with another 2 skull attack that she once again blocks. HG attacks with a 2 skull attack of her own but Kyle only rolls 1 shield to take his 3rd wound. Kyle finally rolls 4 skulls but HG rolls 3 shields and she's barely hanging on with 4 wounds. Deadpool moves and attacks Kyle who has height advantage and Kyle blocked the first attack but had to remove a Battery Marker with second attack (2). Spidey moves adjacent to Drake and attacks but misses. Deadpool moves to same level as Kyle and attacks with a 2 skull attack, Kyle took a chance to roll defense dice but he whiffed and died.

R6 - Drake attacks Spidey for 1 wound (1). Spidey puts 2 wounds on Drake (3). DP moves and attacks Spidey for 2 wounds (3) with the first attack, but Spidey evades the second attack. Spidey whiffs next attack vs. Drake. Spidey evades first attack by DP but takes 1 more wound from second attack (4). Spidey missed an attack vs. Drake.

R7 - Spidey puts 1 wound (4) on Drake. Deadpool puts final wound on Spidey.

Deadpool with 0 wounds, Drake with 4 wounds and Hawkgirl with 4 wounds survive to win on T2R7.

Kyle rolled some really bad attack rolls and defense rolls, while opponents rolled some especially good defense rolls at times and solid attack rolls. Deadpool was able to heal up after taking wounds on a couple occasions. It could have been a much closer game if Kyle had rolled even decent rolls, but he had too many 2 skull attacks rolls and when he got good attack rolls, they were either blocked or only put like 1 wound on HG or 2 on DP which were eventually healed. The combination of Hawkgirl's Swoop attack and Deadpool's double attack and healing ability was the difference in the game, as well as poor dice luck for Kyle's team.

Hmmm. Without the use of his AD power, it looks like he is coming in at about 300 at best, 280 at worst. Wonder Woman is such a great counter to him, but in a team game (army) he will have support units and he is likely to try and avoid her completely until she is engaged with another figure. Good stuff Hahma.

I can finish it Griff, but it might not be until Thursday night as I have to leave earlier for work for the next couple days (going to work at our hospital in Gary) and won't have morning time to test. I should be able to get maybe an army test done tonight with him. I've been quite busy with cleaning out the garage, building custom shelves and digging out a 16' radius in my yard to level it for the pool. I hurt from head to toe as I really kicked in gear on Sunday and kind of over did it.

If it can't wait 'til toward the end of the week, then you can do it if you have time. Otherwise I planned on finishing it, but I had to put real life ahead of testing for once.

Hey, if you want to do it, go for it. I wasn't asking to imply that you were being neglectful, I was asking because I know that life can hinder our hobby, and of course that is understandable and to be expected. Take your time brotha, but know that if you need help, all you have to do is ask.

Thanks for the offer Griff and I didn't mean to come off snarky, I just feel like crap and have been really busy. I wanted to finish what I started, but had to wait until I could squeeze it in.
